No 5-stars at all until I was pity-broken by Fallen Edelgard on pull 56 with a 5.5% pity rate. Then pity-broken by Fallen Gustav on pull 75 with a 5.5% pity rate again. And then finally got Nerthuz as my first focus unit on pull 110 with a 6.25% pity rate. Kvasir finally came home on pull 155 with a 5.0% pity rate, but was immediately followed by another Nerthuz in the came session. None of them have an Asset better than neutral. 1.9% focus rate. 3.2% total 5-star rate. In other words, half of the expected value for both, and that's despite getting a second Nerthuz while cleaning out Kvasir's session. 49 pulls on the Reinhardt banner: 1 Reinhardt (+1 spark) 1 Tina 1 pity breaker: Mycen Both Reinhardt and Tina are [+Spd, -Atk] for some reason, though I'm not complaining. Mycen also seems to be showing up a lot recently for some reason. He would be +2 now, but I'm keeping the extra copies as manuals for now. Again, not complaining. 40 pulls on the Ascended / Rearmed banner: 1 Lif 2 Mareeta 0 Ingrid (+1 spark) This copy of Lif would get him to +10 if it weren't for the fact that I can't merge him without spending his skill fodder first. These copies of Mareeta also get her to +10 if it weren't for the fact that I'm keeping a few copies as manuals in case I need Vital Astra for something. I decided to spark for Ingrid since I need more copies of her than of Lif, but she was sharing a color with Idunn, who I don't need more copies of. 41 pulls on the first New Year rerun: 2 Ash (+1 spark) 1 Reginn 1 pity breaker: Ingrid Ash is now +7. Reginn would be +12 now if that were possible. Ingrid would be +6 if I had a better merge base. 51 pulls on the second New Year rerun: 2 Plumeria (+1 spark) 0 Selkie 1 Velouria Plumeria is now +3. Velouria is now +1. I was originally going to pull for the spark on the Akaneia Hall of Forms banner, but after the New Year banner turned into a budget sink, I just pulled the free pull and called it a day. The Remix banners I was already only going to stop with the free pull since none of the colors on either banner were such that I wanted copies of both units. After all, if I'm not going to use them on a new hero type while being really really bored of the game, when am I ever going to use them? Sniped Red and Blue even though I don't have FEH Pass for the spark. I do have some Google rewards credit lying around that I can't spend on anything else so the window is open I guess? Anyway, first two turned up fast, then a long drought, but then two jackpots right at the end. Mythic Lumera Neutral Rearmed Plumeria +Atk -Spd Emblem Marth +Spd -HP Emblem Marth +Res -HP Lewyn I'd say that went pretty well. Not necessarily in terms of quantity, but in quality, absolutely. Holding off on the free current seasonal pull for now, at least until the AHR line-up is revealed. For the old seasonal pulls, I'm focusing red because of the sheer quantity of Duos/Harmonics on offer. First one is Summer Lilina, meh. Weekly Arena freebie is Claude. So I pulled colorless. My anniversary freebie was Nerthuz, who ... well, she is new sure but damn I really wish I could exchange her for someone on colorless I actually wanted, like Elise+Sakura. EDIT: On the bright side, NY!Hrid is new and I got the nature for Annand I wanted. And Nerthuz is a new unit, so it's still better than getting a dupe. Although, I apparently got a free Legendary Veronica from it so I guess it's not all bad! I finished off my spark from the fallen banner. The last circle hilariously gave me my first Anankos, but I ended up sparking another one because he was -spd. So I got a merge for fallen f!Byleth and my first Anankos, and an extra for fodder. Mostly because it didn't give me any greens on my free circle. On pull 4, it gave me Ascended Hilda whom I didn't have before - with a really good nature. Both copies of Shez were [+Atk, -Res], which is better than my current copy. Ferdinand has an Atk Asset, which is also better than my current copy. Ayra is now +7. Shez is now +2. Ferdinand is now +1. Linde was already +10, so this is a spare copy that can be used for skill inheritance. Now that we can transfer 5 skills at a time, I can grab Remote Sparrow, S/R Far Trace 3, and Def/Res Smoke 3 off of her all at once, which is pretty cool. My budget is a bit less than usual right now due to some unexpected expenses that ended up eating into my gacha budget, so I'm pulling a bit less than usual on the desert banner. 131 pulls: 5 Igrene (+1 spark) 2 Altina 1 Juno 2 5-star Tormod 2 4-star Tormod 6 pity breakers: Celine Arthur Brave Tiki Ascended Fjorm Farina Rennac I decided from the start that I'd spark for Igrene and pull only red and green until I got one of each of the rest, but in hindsight, it would have been more efficient to pull all 3 colors and spark for whoever between Igrene and Altina that I didn't get by the time I reached the spark (and spark for Igrene if I got neither). It ended up not mattering since I got both Juno and Altina before the spark anyways, and since I was that much ahead of budget, I decided to just pull for more merges with the rest of my originally allotted budget. And got 2 copies of Igrene and 1 copy of Arthur on the next circle. 7.6% focus rate is kind of nuts. 12.2% total 5-star rate is equally nuts. The first copy of Altina was a perfect [+Atk, -Spd], and the last copy of Igrene was a perfect [+Spd, -Def]. Fewer pulls also applies to the Legendary/Mythic/Emblem banner, so only 91 pulls for the sparks and then to clear out my pity rate: 0 Marth (+1 spark) 2 Lumera (+1 spark) 1 Hinoka 0 Fir 1 Veyle 3 Plumeria I got extremely few red orbs, and getting no additional copies of Marth is a bit of a bummer, but that's made up for by getting 2 copies of Lumera and 3 copies of Plumeria. 7.7% focus rate is less than 1 pull below average, so that's nothing out of the ordinary. Both copies of Lumera have a Res Asset, which I guess is fine. Veyle is now +4. I now have a total of 4 copies of Plumeria, which is really nifty. There being no 4-star focus on the Hall of Forms banner for Owain means there's really no reason for me to bother pulling for the spark on it, as I already have Grima and Lucina fully merged, and Lucina isn't as useful as fodder anymore due to Anankos. I still haven't had the time to figure out which colors I should be pulling on the 4-star SR Special Heroes ticket banner, so I'm holding off on it until I actually figure that out. Not exactly balanced color-wise...I got three Harmonic merges, so in combination with my absurdly good fortune earlier I can definitely say the Year of the Dragon started off with a resounding success. New and more than acceptable. As for the SHSR summons, there was not a great deal of variety in my 20 with multiple units showing up twice, and to be honest I can't tell whether most of them are new. Priority was red > blue > grey the whole way. Bolded are best guess but I could be lying. 1. Summer Lilina 2. Bride Caeda 3. Summer Noire 4. Harmonic Altina 5. Dancer Olivia 6. Summer Young Tiki 7. Summer Joshua 8. Masquerade Ethlyn 9. Duo Sigurd 10. Bride Sigrun 11. Harmonic Altina (again) 12. Winter Tharja 13. Picnic Flora 14. Summer Young Tiki (again) 15. Summer Tana 16. Picnic Flora (again) 17. Summer Leo 18. Summer Cordelia 19. Duo Sigurd (again) 20. Bride Caeda (again) I focused on red for the sheer number of Duos and Harmonics, and to get four of them total is pretty decent I guess, albeit only two actual unique units. Sigurd was my most wanted unit so can't complain there, even if I failed to get my second priority unit, Duo F Byleth. The lowlight of course is finally getting Summer Leoed, but I suppose he's no less relevant (which is to say, not at all) than units 2-4 years newer this days. Weekly arena freebie is Eyvel. I'm thinking that as of the last wave of demotions, I will continue to prioritise grey, but replace my second choice of green with red. I was primarily aiming for red because I wanted to get one of Duo Sigurd or Harmonic Dorothea, and there were some other units I was missing there as well. And yet, I somehow pulled all four year 1 red units (including Leo THREE TIMES) and a couple of other dupes. Seriously, what??? I was pretty pissed off after we got the 7 log-in tickets. And to be fair, I did get some new units. But I couldn't help but notice that I disproportionately pulled a lot of year 1 and year 2 units. Even some of the newer units I was happy about (like Spring Lucina, Winter Chrom, NY!Hrid, and Harvest Myrrh) were all really old units that are really difficult to build nowadays. For a while, the best thing I got was Summer Lyn. Until my second-to-last ticket gave me Plegian Tharja, which was quite a trip. From literally the first seasonal banner (Spring Lucina) to the most recent eligible seasonal banner. Then, just to annoy me even further, my Lucina and Tharja were +HP -atk and +HP -spd. Potential new merge base for Summer Leo, as this copy has a Res Asset and my existing one has an Atk Asset, and Leo actually has a pretty decent Res stat to use for debuffing, though I'm not sure which one is better for him (not like it actually matters since there are better units that are easier to get than him with either Asset). Bon Micaiah could also go with the new copy that also has a Res Asset, though I'm pretty sure her existing Atk Asset is better in this case. I already had a +Spd -Atk one, and that makes it tricky in terms of deciding whether to merge once to get rid of that Atk bane. Oh who am I kidding, I don't do anything with my units these days and just leave them there until they become obsolete. Today's seasonal banner had decent stuff on it besides Red, so I went ahead and spent around 60 orbs on it, for a return of ...another Duo Elise (+Res -Spd) and my first Wind Claude (+Res -HP), right after I bad-mouthed his art. They came on the fourth and fifth tickets, narrowly averting disaster. (Regrettably, across those 6 circles there was literally one blue orb) Weekly arena freebie is Caineghis.
