Hana - Obstruct Passive skill

Hi everyone, i'm new to the fire emblem series :)

Does anyone know how Obstruct works on Hana?

It says  " Prevents foes from moving through adjacent spaces while this unit's HP ≥ 90% " but i don't really understand how it works. For example, i used Hana to attack an enemy unit at 100% hp but after my turn the enemy unit was able to move away from me?

I thought Obstruct stops them from moving around if my Hp is 90% or greater.. can someone help me on how this passive works?

They can't move past you the 4 spaces beside Hana:

         X

X    Hana  X

         X

Those four tiles surrounding her become pseudo-walls that cannot be walked through. However, if you just attacked an enemy, that means they are standing on top of one of those Xes:

         X

X    Hana  X

         X

If the enemy on the red X moves to the left, right, or down, it won't pass through any of the Obstruct tiles, so it can leave your side no problem. It just can't go past you.
