Custom battle animation not showing

I'm having some trouble with inserting a custom battle animation. I've already inserted the animation in FEditor and assigned the pointer to a class, but when I start a battle, it plays out on the map despite battle animations being turned on. Did I do something wrong, or is it something with the animation script?

Instead of selecting "Custom Animation for a Weapon" it needs to be "All Weapons of a type" (or whatever it's called).
You chose custom so the game will only show the animation for weapon 0x00, which isn't an weapon.
