Probably to their skillset changing depending on certain maps. (I've seen someone screenshot an Aqua/Azura with Aether before) I thought it would be fun to put their voices on them in their older FE games. As far as VA jokes go, I just find it funny that this is the 4th time Takahiro Sakurai and Yuri Lowenthal have voiced the same character-- probably most famously Suzaku in Code Geass.
