Steven Tyler Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) It has been recently confirmed that the major plot in DOA5 revolves around Lisa being the head scientist for DOATEC, and that Kokoro is actually a line of clones which are Omega versions of Alpha-152. It was also revealed that the actual Kasumi was murdered by her clone during the events of the second tournament, and that it has been posing as her this entire time. This would also explain her repetitive obsession with Hayate, her brother. Gen Fu, Leon, Brad Wong, Ein, Tengu, and Nicole have all been removed as playable characters. No confirmation has been brought up about replacement characters, but Nikki, Zack's girlfriend from the DOAX series, has been confirmed playable. It was discussed by Tecmo that she may possibly have a style of fighting comparable to a typical "cat-fight"; slaps, hair-pulling, scratching, etc. Tecmo has commented this would make an interesting, and unique fighting style to the character roster. They also let out the part that Aerosmith's Steven Tyler would be a playable character and that Hitomi is bi-sexual (her current lover is Lei Fang, who's a lesbian) and Ein/Hayate. H elena and Kokoro aren't half-sisters (lol spoilers), but actually Helena is Kokoro's mother (Kokoro's is from the future) and her father is Ryu.
