MonoMooMoo
So I've been toying with the idea of a look into the Strategy-RPG, and tried to come up with the most simple but fun-to-play concept. I made some 8-bit sprites in 8x8 map sprites and 64x64 portrait sprites. I was wondering how I could make them better? It's real hard with the 8x8-4 colour limit. :D
Ycine
It's so tiny! But no worries! Have my non spriter review anyway! 1) The horses, they look good but you may give them 4 hooves! 2) The unit is nice, it's really good looking so I have nothing more to say. 3) Nice portrait, though the black outline on her head is a little bit too much. I especially like the lighting on her hat. Nicely done. 4) Same as the previous unit. It's looking good.
Lenh
Can't really tell about readability without a mockup. Just off the bat the 64x64 is huuuuge in comparison to the 8x8 units. They look fine by themselves but together it's pretty distracting.
