Illia vs. Sacae

Recommended Posts

They way I see it... it's like this:

Illia: It's got pegasus knights holding STEEL Lances so they lose like 7-8 speed making it possible for slow characters like Barth to double them >_>. They've also got poor avoid, bad accuracy and are weak to arrows and Aircalibur.

Sacae: Nomads are carrying Short bows so they have critical hit rates (they're low though but they're still there), high hit, no speed loss and decent avoid. There's also swordmasters carrying killing edge and wo dao. In HM, the regular nomads have around 18-20 speed, good luck doubling these guys lol. They have no weapon they're weak against and since they use indirect combat weapons, they rape your combat rating.

The bosses are a pain too, Monke, boss of chapter 18 uses Brave Bow and Brave sword and packs avoid of 70+ (He also has an elixir which you may wish to steal) . Gel, boss of chapter 19 MUST be faced indirectly (with only one spot for that) unless you're begging for a critical. His avoid is ridiculous too. The gaiden chapter has 6 bosses and the correct base to capture is always random.

Sacae's only medicine is to bring high def units like Miledy with the Delphi shield and Douglas with a Javelin and Brave Lance.

I end up in Sacae most of the time, shin is just so freaking easy for me to level up and for some reason the pegasus sisters just aren't :\
