It wouldn't make me pull for characters I don't want, and I get the characters I do want with my current spending. That said, if there ever was a sale, I would buy orbs even if I didn't need them at the time, because I would likely need them another time. Plenty of gacha games give a decent amount of f2p orbs and still make a steady flow of revenue based on the banners they release. As long as they don't do anything crazy to ruin the communities trust or come out with obvious cashgrabs i feel like they should be fine. Sometimes giving a decent amount of orbs can eventually turn more people into paying players because they feel like its a gacha game worth investing to. Removing f2p orbs all together and lowering the orb prices will not go over well.
