The Tipper of Scales
I am a huge fan if Initial D. I try to draw characters, but cannot seem to get it down. I'm significantly better at cars. So here's an unfinished AE86 Trueno. Any tips?
Wanderer-Of-Fates
It looks good, but if you want to improve it more that here are some tips: Use a reference image, it really, really helps get proportions right Look up tutorials for new objects or when you want to draw people Think about what you would see when you look at it (in this case a car) in real life, from the angle you drew it at the back of the car probably wouldn't be seen that much, and the side of the car would be a bit more tilted straight- but I see what your going for and that's good! Use rulers, they do help- if you can't find one, fold a piece of paper in half because it's better than nothing Shade your art, while thinking about things like: is it darker on one side of the car? where is the sun shining from? Is there glare on the windshield? Stuff like that! Most importantly, keep drawing! Every drawing you do is practice, and you will get even better with time- keep at it and have fun! Hopefully that helps a bit!
