Captain Karnage
so a few years ago I praised the prebuilt decks that Wizards of the Coast put out for Magic the Gathering, as they introduced the partner mechanic and released the first 4 color legendary creatures. I didn't say anything about last year's because I mainly forgot. Last year's decks were a tribal theme and the Legendary creatures functioned while in the command zone that helped in 4 creature tribes, wizards, dragons, vampires, and cats. what was in common at least with last years and the year before was that those decks contained high value reprints and as well as new cards that were popular before they were even released, they all had great synergy within the decks and could be played (somewhat competitive) right out of the box, and they were great for players who were new to the format. These new decks just have little to no synergy within it, contain bulk and I mean a LOT of bulk, I've hardly seen anywhere online people posting new deck ideas, and most of all of the upgrade posts suggest just getting the legendary creatures/planeswalkers and just build it from scratch which is something you normally don't see in upgrading suggestions. I really hate to say it but I don't think I can recommend these to anyone, especially considering how popular and well valued they were in the past, if you have interest in building a deck I'd recommend watching Tolarian Community College for a budget deck teck, or try to find one of the previous years' decks for a reasonable price (on a side note I think they're intentionally trying to kill off all of their products like duel decks and clash packs)
