What happens if you suicide a flier who's carrying Ross, over water? Preferably as close to the zombie ship as possible.

If you suicide a flier over water that is carrying another unit, they are plopped in the water without being able to move unless they are right next to terrain they can traverse, or have water-walking. If you have ever played the gaiden you get forblaze in in FE6, and have a unit get trapped in the water, that is how it works.

I have pirate Ross, so it really does not matter, and my plan is to just give him some hand axes and elixirs, plop him on the ship, and have him yeet everything. Hello72207
Chapter 9! We finally get another unit! I bring Ephraim, Colm, Ross, and Seth. I start by sending Ross forward with a hand ax to kill the knight and the archer. Ross then sits on the pillar and kills more things. The sleep staff guy does not even bother targeting Ross, as his mag is only 4 and Ross has 9 res, which is still pretty ridiculous. We recruit Amelia, and now we just have to train her without dying. Of course, it is not gonna be easy with level ups like these. Sheesh. Sleep staff misses Amelia all three times like the noobs enemy priests are. And now Amelia is gaining levels off of the priest that missed her with that sleep staff so many times. Ross corners the longbow archer for Amelia later, and Amelia keeps stabbing that poor priest. Honestly this is what you would expect of trashmelia. Amelia uses the angelic robe and dragonshield we saved for her and becomes a little better, but still Amelia. Amelia starts stabbing the archer that Ross so kindly trapped for her and becomes stonger for it. What do you know? Amelia did something right for a change. Yay! Now with the dragonshield stacked on all this, Amelia will not die that easily. Useless. Hordes of cavalier reinforcements force everyone into a room with Ross at the front, and we slowly kill them all. Ross promotes, and now everyone here is as good as dead. Also, can I say that berserker promo bonuses are really good? Amelia levels and gets HP and skill. Amelia's final level up grants HP and defense. Ross gains 1 strength from killing Gheb the waifu. With that, we end.
Benice
Your Amelia has higher stats than my lv. 3 knight amelia does in everything except for HP. And I gave her an energy ring, angelic robe, secret book and dragonshield. Yours turned out pretty decent, actually.

Below average in: Str, Spd, and Res. Your Amelia is seriously in trouble. Maybe Ewan will give you someone good.
Hello72207
Chapter 10! But first: We use the speedwing Amelia brought us on Ross, and continue with the level: Amelia and Ross go forward towards the soldiers, Tana grabs the torch village, and we keep pushing to go as fast as possible. Ross gets 1 defence from a level up. Gotta get that speed. Amelia might be following in Ross's footsteps. Trapped in a corner, we just barely manage to get Cormag and Duessel. Amelia utilizes a chokepoint against the huge cavalier mob, and the rest of the gang is trapped down in Duessel's starting point. We manage to survive, and that ends this chapter. NinjaMonkey
How do you "solo" a game if you use more than one unit? Labelling this a "Trainee's only run" would be far more accurate description-wise.

Sort of how if there was a commander who routed the battlefield, you would say, "Mr. Whatever the commander's name is single-handedly won the battle" even though it wasn't only the commander fighting. Hello72207
Alright so I lost the old save and had to start from chapter 9 again. Ross and Amelia are a little different. The only other major difference is: I got some extra cash to spend.
Hello72207
Phantom Ship time! Ross gets dropped on the enemy ship by Vanessa with an inventory full of hand axes and vulneraries.\ Vanessa dies In two turns, he clears out the majority of monsters on that ship Amelia and the rest go over to that ship. We get surrounded by mogalls, but Ross can and will fight/rn grind, although I could find no way to save Seth from his fate... RIP Seth x Eirika. After we clear out enough mogalls and gargoyles, Duessel and Amelia can run out of enemy range, with Duessel carrying Ephraim, leaving the enemies to attack and die to Ross. Dozla comes up, and we just manage to kill the last remaining gargoyle without Ephraim dying (he had 4hp). Seth died though, but with the amount of time I wasted on this level at this point, I simply could not find it in my heart to reset. He was falling off as a meatshield anyway. Ephraim leveled from dodging and filled the entire left column. Ross's new stats are: Amelia got some good level ups, and will be able to hold her own now. Attempt count: ∞ Brain cells lost: all of them Alright, I did it. Sorry Benice, I did it first. Edited March 9, 2020 by Hello72207

I'm pretty sure if Ross had good res like yours did or Amelia had stats I could have done it; I'm starting a new file to see if I can get more stats from Amelia. And my amelia currently has 16 wins and 95 losses... Ross is roughly 385 wins and 6 losses. Good job though, the rest of the game will be super easy since Ewan's pretty good, actually. Hello72207
Chapter 12! I take Cormag, Duessel, and Ephraim to chokepoint the right side of the ship and send Ross and Amelia to the left. Ross goes down to kill gargoyles, and Amelia finishes off a cav. Ross then goes up to kill a shaman and Amelia moves into the range of another one with a javelin. Duessel and Ephraim move back to the two pathways on the left of the ship to hold it, and Ross and Amelia kill units. Amelia levels from killing a dog. Ross goes back to the ship to help with the hordes of enemies. A spider falls to Amelia's lance and grants her this levelup. Cormag dies, but whatever. Ross and Amelia start clearing out enemies. Ross levels. The trainees are one with the Res stat. Almost got all the bottom enemies taken care of. Now Ross and Amelia start moving upwards. Amelia leveled hp, skill, spd, and def while I was not looking. Where is all of this Res coming from? Ross visits the inn. Duessel visits the village and gets Ewan! Our party is complete. Ewan uses the dracoshield, and then gets behind Ephraim to snipe at a nearby bonewalker. Tanky Amelia. Ewan time. Duessel visits the shop and buys a lot of vulneraries and elixirs. Ephraim and Duessel support. Duessel lures Marisa in, and Ewan recruits her. Ross and Amelia go in front of Ewan to protect him. Ewan assaults a Entombed, and levels. Assault=levels. I have gotten lucky with all three trainees. Ewan tries to dispute by leveling one luck. Ross supports Amelia. One more level! And that is that for Ewan. Amelia and Ross rout all the enemies, and Amelia gets this level for it. Amelia gets one final level from killing the boss, and that is that. Summoner maybe because having extra units to lure others away is a much better thing then anima magic. Although, if I do mage knight, and then give Ross the boots, I have a highly mobile team, so I'm still thinking.

You know what, Imma let anyone that sees this decide Ewan's promotion between summoner and mag knight. Benice
I vote for druid Ewan! You'll want Luna to deal with Lyon. Those promotion bonuses are pretty good too. If you're not going to do Druewan, I'd go Summoner, again, just because Luna is a lifesaver even after being debuffed,

Yeah, I guess your Amelia's probably bulky enough to charge headlong into the enemy. I promoted mine early just so she couldn't die super easily. (Dang, yours still has better stats in everything but speed and luck, though.) I still personally think that Luna is worth foroging horse emblem. If you don't, well, I'm quite obviously bad at this game, so it's probably better to ignore me anyways. And your strawpoll is now 50-50. Hello72207
Alright, Summoner defeated Mage Knight Ewan, so we promote him to shaman. Time for chapter 13 Ross, Ewan and Ephraim go down, while Amelia and Duessel go to the right. Ross gets a PERFECT LEVEL!!! Ewan gets magic and resistance. Amelia gets hp, skill, luck, and defence. Amelia gets speed and luck. Ewan gets magic and skill Ewan gets magic. Ewan gets skill, spd, luck and res. Ewan levels hp, skill, spd, and res. Ewan levels mag, skill and luck Amelia gets to Ross and Ewan and together they push through the army. Both villages have been saved. Amelia's final level grants one luck, and we promote her to paladin. Also, might I note that as a level one paladin, Amelia has 18 defense, basically making her a mounted, fast general. Ewan levels hp and skill. Ross kills Selena and levels one defense. Ewan kills the great knight and gets skill. Ewan levels hp and resistance. Ewan's final kill levels hp, skill, def, and res.
