Xlelius
The Seven Keys is a rom hack of FE8 which chronicles the events of the Continent of Gyldeus over an approximate 50 year time span, 3 centuries after dragons disappeared from the land. Seven Keys take inspiration from FE4 both in its Legendary Weapons and in a few gameplay mechanics. It features 30 main story chapters, a final chapter, and 5 gaiden chapters, as well as 78 playable characters(Although not all characters are available at the same time). As a developer, I reward players for certain actions, and encourage players to experiment and try new things. Check out the trailer on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV3bWWUfdNA Below are a few screenshots from testing runs. Ver 1.0 is available for download at the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o3rcR9iLpHVPrJOSxSGO2MXZECVoYpS4/view?usp=sharing Ver 1.5 is now available for download at the following Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mb3-ySCWsWwicSBLQT7CQDhxUUHPxm4Y/view?usp=sharing Let me know if there are any issues. SwordofGrima
Can you share how many chapters are covered by the current version? I'm assuming only a couple so far... Good luck!
CapnSteiner
I believe all the chapters are complete. I was beta testing the game for him and it’s a blast.
Xlelius
The 33 chapters mentioned above are available in the Version 1.0, but I do have a few more gaiden chapters planned for later versions.
BakanGin
so the maps are complete is the main story not counting the gaidens complete?
Xlelius
The main story is complete, with the exception of a few gaiden chapters, but those shouldn't change the main story at all, just add a little extra spice to it.

karlak
A question about the game: In Chapter 25, the two NPC, Issac and Lydia, Issac's panel shows that he has a conversation to Lydia. However, Issac remains as the NPC even after having both Isaiah and Teagan talked to him. Therefore, Issac cannot talk to Lydia since he cannot be recruited. It seems both two NPC cannot be recruited through this Chapter 25. However, Issac automatically joined the team in the next Chapter 26 while Lydia is not. Does it supposed to be in this way? Xlelius
Karlak, this is a small oversight. Originally, Isaac could be recruited earlier and would have a conversation with Lydia. His earlier recruitment was scrapped during development, but this conversation was not removed. The conversation was only some short dialog, so it had no effect on gameplay. While Isaac can join at the start of the next chapter, Lydia cannot be recruited in the third part of the game. Hopefully this addresses your concerns. Although I am having a hard time to recognize the same character when he/she turns older with a different portrait, due to it was used as a different character in the original FE. But that's still fun. Hope it will get some update.
WolfTwin
⋯on VisualBoyAdvance freezes at start with the "Nintendo®" logo scrambled… if the option "use BIOS file" (bios.gba, gba_bios.bin) is activated [while using an old software]. ⋯runs on NO$GBA v.3.02. This are intentional? – villager: "becaoming", "Mybe". A dialectal quirkiness‽ – Idalia: "Gerenal". A mockery‽I've always found it odd that in a fantasy world, originally imagined in Japan, it's spoken a proper English. Alph
I am enjoying it: Small bug if you give an Archer a ballista it will crash the game because there is no combat animation for a regular archer holding a ballista, it will cause a crash if you try to heal or dance that unit too. You can just set the combat animation off for that particular character, or just change their class to ballista with codes: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/gba/921183-fire-emblem-the-sacred-stones/faqs/36978 Those class bytes work, however if you just change the 2byte class value they will still have their old weapon prof etc, best wait till they can promote, then do the class hack, and then change to advanced class, this will then fix an issues around weapon abilities. ForteGX
As the character availability changes, do their items get lost? Especially, the promotion items? Do any characters return with their inventory?

For characters who only leave for short periods of time, like 1 or 2 chapters at a time, you can still access their item during battle prep. That said, certain items will not transfer from generation to generation.
Xlelius
Version 1.1 is now available for download. There is an issue where the title screen still displays "VER 1.0" even though it is ver 1.1 Edited September 7, 2020 by Xlelius
