-Same reason both of Z2's halves have menu translations but not Z1- 🤷‍♂️. And let's not forget we've had Alpha Gaiden fully translated forever and Alpha 1 remains unfinished.

Hmm... I've been saying after all four J runs are done. But then an unplayed yet translated SRW catches my interest b/c it'd be new to me whereas J has become very familiar. W as I've said complicates things too, owing to sharing much of J's roster (and presumably spritework carryover, which would be different from GC having Layzner and Mazinkaiser, since GC is 3D). And I question the reasonableness of burning through my limited stock of SRW too fast, so maybe not this year? -But then, I'm not great at resisting the allure of SRW. ...Maybe I'll hold off on the Vorlent run and give myself the OK to GC after run three?

For that one, I can excuse that Alpha Gaiden has MUCH less text to translate out of all four Alpha games... but yeah, Alpha 1 is overdue having theirs done. Ah well...

That's not a bad plan. Would really change things up from playing J continuously. You can always put that last J playthrough before starting with W, to serve as a good and fitting follow-up.

I'm gonna miss Vigo honestly. I said it was the total opposite of Barcelona but honestly, that's affectionate. Even though the tourist money flows in Barcelona, Vigo just feels kinda more comfy idk. They could improve the public transit tho.

So if I am to assume that this war will soon engulf all of Tellius and risk awakening the dark god, I kind of like how it was just a war started by dipshit racist senators who were mad that their slaves were being taken away and so tried to declare a race war essentially. There's no baddy individual who's all like "I'm going to be an ideology-less bad guy who kills for fun and wants to wake up the dark god!" But instead a situation that can and has happened in the real world.

Tellius may have fumbled badly with it's race allegory but it's political intrigue is unmatched by all other FE games I've played so far.

Which to be fair, there's not tons of competition there.

I just remembered the cute conversation between Calill and Naphanee on teaching her how to act like a city-lady, and now I'm sad.

If there's one thing that Radiant Dawn gets good about it's race allegory it's that racism is established as a true social issue. It's not like there's a few bad apples who are cartoonishly evil and racists, racism is shown to be a integrated problem that plagues even otherwise good people.

*Glances at the number of scenarios.* 151 for Alpha 2, 124 for Alpha 3, 69 for AG. Akurasu doesn't list the number for Alpha 1, but given it has 67 before factoring in the route splits, it wouldn't surprise me if it passed 100 too.

I actually asked. The addition of Yukimura and Izana to the Scarlet mod was done by someone else, for personal use. It's not super well-made and it sort of assumes you're using Gay Fates because otherwise Izana and Yukimura can't support in Rev. They're considering releasing it if they can get it to a more presentable state. Still, I'd personally say it'd be better off being released as is with a warning to its somewhat haphazard state.

Well, there's one point after SPOILERS happens that Eirika is temporarily left in a state of shock and Moulder basically takes over her role in a couple scenes until she comes back all angry and ready to kick some butt. This was interpreted as me hating Eirika and wanting to take away her plot importance and give it to a dude. Which I'll admit, it hurt a bit to see. I get where they were coming from, but it wasn't my intention at all. The rest was basically just marvelling at the hack's chaos and treating me like a Kaga-tier madman, which I'm fine with.

...On the other hand, they seemed to enjoy the support I whipped up, so that restored my ego a bit.

Also they found the first Eirika edit absolutely hilarious. I can get behind that, it's not exactly the world's masterpiece of sprite editing, and I can relate to having a laugh at something so bad it's good. Feels a bit weird to be the target for once, but eh. If nothing else, it was an enlightening experience. People usually only perk up at hack threads to say "hey your hack is awesome dude." Interesting to see a different perspective.

Berwick Saga, too, as I discovered in the minimum ranks run. I had no idea there was a whole chain of comedic vignettes if you refrained from capturing the sitting duck in chapter 5.

Vigo's a smaller city. Small Spanish cities are the best. Mine is even better, because you don't even need the public transport. It's compact, medium-sized and super flat, so you just walk everywhere.

Have fun in Madrid. It's one of the cities of all time.

I wouldn't recommend it. Madrid has a lot of nationalists, and Venezuela used to be their boogeyman before being replaced by Cataluña.

FE mod players take this way too far. I mean, you aren't paid to do this job, so naturally it isn't going to be perfect. Hell, the in game artwork looks shoddy plenty of times and they were paid to create those.

These kinds of cities seem like the best strat from my tourist perspective. Vigo has the problem that it's a mountain so if you're physically disabled, might as well [redacted] but it's nice.

Of course, the worst places seem to be the Bumblefuck Nowhere places where the bus passes by once a week. A feel like a lot of people who idolize European public transit don't realize that it only works in or near the cities.

I want to be clear it was this specific museum. I've been to others in Barcelona and Santiago and, apart from select rooms, you could take pictures.

But Del Padro? Literally no pictures allowed.

Flash photography is often prohibited. Using cameras in general, not so much. Sometimes, particularly for especially valuable/aged/fragile objects, they'll ban all photography as a measure against all potential harm.
