Defeatist Elitist
Is this the part where I say that I liked the movies better? :P The Lord of the Rings films WHERE amazing, and some of the best adaptations ever, but I believe the book is still superior. I would actually say that Shogun did the best job ever faithfully moving a book to the "moving picture". I mean, watching that mini-series practically qualifies you as having legitimately read it, they recreated it so accurately. Of course, you never did claim that LotR was the best, but I felt like saying that anyways. =p Pride and Prejudice? Disgustingly Old Order. War and Peace FTW.
