    Perhaps if Velvet is fielded in a chapter, at the end of the chapter, she will get a copy of one weapon of one ally that was fielded in that chapter, except with only a few uses? Also when equipped, they give a large stat bonus to certain stats, like SPD and SKL with Crescent Rose, etc.

    given the poll results, i put up a final updated version of my hack to address some issues of crypticness, and fix a description. The bug where (censored) keeps talking after the convo that takes place after his death finishes isn't fixed, I have no idea how to get rid of it.

    I wonder how you'll fit in the spawning mechanic in with them...probably more ASM stuff that will inevitably be used in almost every hack ever being developed right now...

    So long as there is a clear and discernable way of things that you can do, as well as being a LITTLE forgiving, it should be fine. Marc's Precious is just haphazard stuff, with huge reliance on RNG, and no necessarily clear strategy.

    To put it simply, think of it as attempting to beat FE7CM except all your units have absurdly low hit and crit rates. Possible, but no discernable strategy.

    FEXNA: FEXP except much smoother, less clunky, and far easier to implement things. FEGBA: well its got that classic feel to it, plus the majority of the people here are used to FEGBA, has many possibilities with ASM code. FEXP: easier to implement stuff without knowledge of ASM, slow and clunky however. in short: FEGBA: ASM code FEXNA: FEXP except not terrible FEXP: FEGBA w/o ASM required

    there is a distinct possibility i may not finish in time *checks schedule, sees finals coming up* yep not finishing in time. plus, looking back on my chapter concept, doesn't appear that it's going to be all that fun. Sure, extremely defined roles is interesting, but is it fun game design...?
