Ah! Looks like I was mostly right with my summary. This is so cute, I absolutely adore it.

I believe that's what they said they'd say if they ever met again? I could hve completely misinterpreted that but I'm certain it's something like that. Since they all go to their separate worlds, I think they were sure they'd never meet again, but if they did they would need something to make sure it was truly them or something like that. I kind of skipped over the dialogue at the end.

I definitely think you should be able to choose their gender, or make it be random. Having an opposite gendered kid every time is a bit boring, particularly in Fates because they're pretty much just cutesy-wutesy rehashes of Morgan without the personality. As for names? I don't think so. It'd just make everything too confusing IMO. Like someone draws fanart online of their kid and captions it "Look at my sweet Rosemary!" when mine is called Dickfart. I'd be like, "that's not my Dickfart. Who is this impostor? Who is Rosemary?" I'd also like to echo that Kana's male voice sucks. His JP one was cute but goddamn that ENG voice is hard to swallow.

Yes, I know! That soundclip is pretty adorable, but since they cut out his other singing voice clip, I thought maybe that meant something. Obviously not.

This was my first blind run: Silas x FMU -Based on first impressions, I liked his character and design. Unfortunately this did not last long. -Couldn't think of who else to pair him with. -Was going to go Niles instead, but my 'translator' forbade it. He preferred him with Azura. Xander x Charlotte -Cute cute cute -+Str +Spd pairup -Cute blonde Siegbert -Absolute Charlotte bias (seriously people complain about her hitrate but not when I was done with her. 1rko'd the last boss) Niles x Azura -Aforementioned translator loved it bc he found the porcupine line really cute. -In his words, "the fastest child." Seriously he won't shut up about this. Camilla x Keaton -Like both characters. Arthur x Luna -Cute red hair Percy -??? Kaze x Effie -I don't know man it just sorta happened.

Woah, that's awesome. I was worried they wouldn't do it and would cut out his singing, or worse yet that we wouldn't get the DLC at all. Matt seems like such a great guy as a sidenote.

Words cannot describe how thankful I am that they changed Azama/Kagero. Reading it made me physically uncomfortable. It's still not the best, but it's better than what we could've gotten. Unfortunately Soleil/Ophelia still isn't great, and pretty much outlines what I don't like about Soleil as a character. Even her apologising is unfortunately limited by the current support setup in which she could apologise for harassing Ophelia then go on to harass Forrest in the next few minutes.

So to summarise: This DLC has only left me sad and salty because two of the pairings (one romantic and one platonic) that should very well have been in the game weren't, and now we have the evidence to suggest they would have been fucking great.

What. The. Fuck. So Scarlet canonically is in love with Ryoma. Great. Just great. I'm so goddamn mad you can't even believe. I'm starting to think I should just do a Thor Odinson and make a Scarlet avatar to sate my Scarlet/Ryoma and blonde Shiro desires. I'm so mad.

I couldn't agree more. You can really tell how much chemistry they have and the way it's written is so fluid and moving that it's hard to believe they were intended to marry anyone else. It's almost like poetry. I can't believe I forgot about JP Kagero/Azama thank you so much for reminding me.

Hahaha yeah I haven't played the English version because I like in Aus but I'm happy to hear it's been improved.

Maybe there is some exaggeration but I know that in terms of Hana/Silas it's so OOC and seems to favor Silas so much despite Hana being established to be talented on her own. It's not the greatest, and a lot of his end up painting his judgmental tendencies as "oh, look what a nice, down to earth guy he is!". This is purely subjective, of course.

Takumi/Oboro, Xander/Charlotte, Azura/Camilla and, even though I dislike the kids on principle, Shiro's convo with his variable mother. I don't know why I like it but something about the image of Ryoma writing love letters to his wife/lover makes me happy. I love Saizo/F!Corrin what? who's biased? especially when expanded on in Kana/Saizo's festival convo.

IIRC his supports with Mozu and F!Corrin are ok? I've heard about Silas/Hana but I must admit I'm not up to date on the details of his other ones. Damn, he seems more of a disappointing character than I originally thought.

Okay, even putting aside your comments, instead of acting this way and being passive-aggressive and confrontational, how about you add to the conversation by giving reasons as to why you personally think her supports are good. After all, this is a support quality thread.

They're better than the child ones, anyway. Aside from the obvious Setsuna, can't say I'm a fan of Oboro's (she seems a bit... short?) and Leo's and Camilla's anatomies seem kind of off - Leo's head and Camilla's legs. [T]subaki and Xander look foine tho.

I'm pretty much the exact opposite when it comes to Camilla/Keaton. I find their C-A pretty charming if a little bit samey and rehashed over and over again, but their S is just... creepy, even if it starts out OK. Her reason for accepting his proposal can pretty much boil down to "we wrote this support in a way that doesn't really lead up to them getting married but ahaha isn't Camilla cuh-RAZY?" I agree that it's a waste of time. Soleil's supports with her mother, Ophelia and Nina make me uncomfortable, too, but I believe everything that can be said about them has been. I'll only add that I was excited at the prospect of a bisexual lady character and her getting cleaned up a bit in the localisation when it came to her supports but her one-note yuri fanaticism and borderline sexual harrassment really disappointed me, not to mention the localisation couldn't make up its mind as to whether she's... actually bisexual or not. Same with Nina - could've had a Robin Hood but got a 14-year-old Teen Wolf fan on tumblr. (Although I do like her Shiro support.) EDIT: Gotta add Camilla/Ryoma. While not overtly terrible (particularly the S, which I think is great especially in JP) I have to comment on the lost opportunity to explore their characters and the political landscape, instead opting for a player-worship-fest which does neither of them justice. I still love them together because of headcanon, but Jesus Christ one of the most potentially interesting couples and they managed to completely butcher it.

What I dislike about these maps is that, unlike Awakening and Future Past, they are so much more divorced from your experience with the game. What I mean is that these characters aren't yours, and this seems to be a running theme in the DLC maps. They have their default hair colours, lack the personal relationships they may have had in your game, can't really have any meaningful variable conversations. All it is is an attempt to recreate what Awakening had almost verbatim, without the personal charm that Future Past allowed.

Wow that Azura/Camilla is... really goddamn sweet. Brings out the best in Camilla; I wish most of her supports depicted her that way. I understand why they did it but them not having supports hurts more now.

Better than the $200 they had listed prior to the release date announcement. $130 is about right when you take into account the Japanese and American prices (and our shitty economy).

He is a true Jagen archetype, meaning he begins the game as an early crutch for players to use sparingly but ceases to be useful once the player becomes accustomed to the game and other characters become a little more reliable. In other words, his growths suck. Don't bother.

I generally play Rev now on Lunatic/Casual since the chapters are long and sometimes arduous, but if you're confident I say by all means go Lunatic/Classic. I've never played Normal but Hard was pretty easy - I even forgot I was playing on Hard for most of the lategame, and I'm not even that great at FE. You can always go Lunatic/Classic then turn it down to hard if you're having trouble, but once you get through the prologue section it's pretty smooth sailing IMO.

Haven't seen in translated around so I thought I'd give the gist of the Saizo/Kana conversation since it's pretty cute. (This is very loose keep in mind and I'm only remembering what I do from last night.) Basically Kana finds the journal that Saizo kept when he was keeping tabs on Kamui and remarks that his dad's a pretty strange person after all, and that the way it's written doesn't even sound like him. He goes on to embarrass his dad by pointing out details like Saizo's comments about how many times Kamui smiled, and what type of smiles they were, and how she was cute. Saizo's reactions pretty much consist of a bunch of blushing sprites, hurt sound clips and "!?!?!?!?!?!?!?". He pleads for Kana to stop, then when he calms down he says it's not strange since he loved and still does love Kamui, so it was only a natural thing to do. To buy his silence, he promises to buy Kana whatever he wants from the festival.

I like to think that Sakura/Kana is IS' way of saying to the player, 'you know what you did' but I don't think they have enough backbone to do that. Weird conversation nonetheless. Definitely going to get changed in localisation, or at least altered. Peri/Soleil is so cute!! I'm so glad I married her and Las.
