  1. Oh definitely not, but I thought at least they'd stick to the same type of schedule since they were doing so for the first 10 or so minutes, but now they have deviated quite a bit from each other.
  2. I'm kind of watching both simultaneously. Different stuff, actually. American one is on about Revelation and DLC, whereas Aussie one hasn't touched on it yet, has it?
  3. I think it's probably because they didn't want to risk paying for English VAs given the game's mild reception. Are you watching the Aussie one or the American one?
  4. Story aside, as I didn't really enjoy either, I fell in love with Conquest's gameplay. After playing it, Birthright kind of struck me as lackluster and boring. I still really enjoyed Birthright and it's a great game with some awesome characters, but Conquest reminded me of the first games I played as a kid.
  5. Definitely definitely definitely. I really want a return to supports that make sense for each character, meaning limited and more varied in scope rather than (C-A = funny platonic conversation S= i love u). That, and unique endings. Sadly I don't anticipate this happening given the direction of the series, but I can dream.
  6. My preorder seems to be intact (for now). By the way, can I pay this thing off or is it an at-purchase deal? I've never really preordered anything from EB before that wasn't a home delivery.
  7. Haha I am Australian, the pain is mine tyvm. And like I said, I understand there's shitloads of characters so it would be a ton of work, but it's still disappointing overall. The fact is there isn't even special dialogue for the main characters or one scene in Revelation. They are completely divorced from each other despite marriage and children's popularity, and that strikes me as strange and disappointing. As many of us have said, after Awakening, we expected one step forward, not one step back.
  8. I'm just kind of sick of generic dialogue. I understand that there are a lot of characters and that each character can potentially be your spouse/child/neither, but it kind of makes me really 'meh' towards the entire marriage thing at all. Your children never acknowledge you as their parent (other than Kana) outside of support conversations, your spouse doesn't care/doesn't seem to exist in any ending. It really drives home how divorced the story is from pairings this time around as if they really did just add it in at the end, and it makes me really apathetic towards it as a whole. The fact that you can marry siblings and no one bats an eyelash (including the sibling in question) reinforces that. TL;DR: I pretty much treat story and marriage as two separate things, but I expected more/even a small improvement on Awakening after it actually got some pretty heartwarming, great variable scenes if you married particular story-related people. EDIT: Oh, and I haven't actually done this but... [spoiler=Revelation Spoilers]Crimson dying and only Ryoma caring despite her potentially being the mother of Corrin's child is jarring indeed. For how much they seem to acknowledge the popularity of the waifu aspects over at ol' IS, they don't seem to be able to commit to it very well.
  9. I am forever bound to the red ninja tiddy.
  10. Yep! You can use whatever save slot you want - there are no designated slots for routes.
  11. Revelation comes out March 10, you can play it without having beating either but need to own at least one copy in order to download it. Branch of Fate will start you from the moment of the Choice using the data from your most recent save file. This means you cannot choose the difficulty or mode, but can customise your character as you would in a New Game. All this means is that you skip the prologue chapters and can get straight into the choice you downloaded. New game will function as normal. What makes you think you will save over your Birthright game? None of these options will erase/tamper with your data.
  12. I'm reeeeeally hoping for April or May. I'm preparing to be disappointed however.
  13. According to this "leak" (grain of salt) http://gonintendo.com/stories/253219-rumor-early-details-on-tomorrow-s-european-nintendo-direct it's very likely we'll get a release date, and that given it's about "summer" releases, we'll probably get it in June. I'm happy we might be getting info on it at all, but still. Not happy.
  14. I will try my best, Boss. Had no idea there was such a drought for content particularly because all of it is quality I mean c'mon.
  15. If this is hell, I will gladly throw myself into the flames. Oh, and I also really like Niles/Azura. It's not that great of a support but it had me at porcupine analogies and continued to intrigue me with the open end and 'let's take it slow' attitude.
  16. I like Takumi/Oboro and Xander/Charlotte a lot, and surprisingly I have a real soft spot for Corrin/Shura supports. As much as I'm disappointed in Ryomilla supports given I've got a bad case of pairing bias, I still love their S support and... I guess the gap between A-S (where B and A should've taken place) makes room for headcanon? Maybe? Either way I like them together. That purple Shiro tho. Also got an ever-growing bias for Ryomarx creeping up, so I enjoy their supports, as well as Takumi/Leon's and Xander/Hinoka.
  17. In MyRoom or in game? In-game model, I don't think there's a way since the only method of doing so is putting him in a swimsuit/costume, but those don't show up everywhere else. In MyRoom, he takes off the mask when it triggers the 'kissing' event should you be married to him. Not sure if this still happens in the English version but I assume so.
  18. Yeah, weird that only one line for a few characters have been uncovered (or at least shown off) and that they're still buried in the data, as if they recorded these ad put them in just to test out the feature and went 'nope, we tried to make it work. too weird. scrap it.'
  19. Did anyone else think that Revelation Lunatic is pretty easy, at least in terms of the main story missions? The only times I had trouble were with a few early missions and Forrest's recruitment mission (haven't got all the kids, though. Only have Shiro, Kana and Forrest atm.) I'll admit I had to give up on my Birthright run during Chapter 23. I just got so frustrated with the DVs I switched down to Hard.
  20. I also convinced myself that uni would be a good distraction... then proceeded to skip every lecture I had this week in favour of playing FE (this wasn't the only reason, of course), and have already discontinued one course. Combined with how poorly I did in my first year when it came to dropping classes and not showing up I'll probably be graduating in 2020 if I'm lucky. Hey, but at least I'll have FE in English by then, right? There's a rumour going around that skinship will be intact as it was in the JP version in the EU version. I call bullshit, but hey, speculation kinda beats the infuriating silence we're getting on NoE's part.
  21. I'm curious what you disliked about Izumo? Beat it on Lunatic pretty easily and it was pretty fun, but if it's about the slow pace I can totally understand that. Revelation suffers from that in general.
  22. Make sure you have recruited her before the chapter ends - if she or other units such as Forrest aren't "blue" units by the time the chapter ends/ they die on Casual mode, you won't have actually recruited them.
  23. I don't care much for the children this time round but I have such a soft spot for Percy. I like Shiro and MKanna too (and I have a soft spot for Asugi too bc Saizo bias) but Percy takes the crown for cutest child for me.
