If I had to nail it down to just one, I'd say Hardin, based on preference. He's easily worth the wait to get him. The thing is, you can't really go wrong with Abel, Cain, Frey, or Hardin, they're all very good, very solid units.

I don't find Sigrun to be terrible, just a time sink, which I have plenty of, good sir. Her water affinity is extremely appealing to me, especially since she's a Seraph Knight, which inherently lacks offense/defense. I honestly don't give 2 shits about tier lists, I go with what classes are good, then I make my team. And besides, it was a joke, I thought it was obvious with the whole "I'll complain online about it!" bit...

There's nothing I really hate about this game... Call me a fanboy if you want, but I can't say anything was really that abysmal about the game... You could work around anything in the game

I believe you had to have a higher combined level total on other units than the non magic users in your group to access him (or was it the other way around?), and you would go to an alternate map on the same chapter in which you'd get Karel. Basically, it was Karel + Wo Dao VS Harken + Brave Sword. Both are decent characters, but Harken was just better, came with the better weapon, and he also gets HHM bonuses...

I'm gonna go ahead and say I appreciate Harken. He has the Con to use axes, and is just good overall...

I'm an avid lover of Boss/Battle Save abuse, but I never got the hype over Soren. He was always just there, maybe picking off a soldier or two, weakening a few guys, healing eventually... Not awful, but... eh, you know what I'm saying at this point so I'll just shut up. Nitpick mode activated! What arenas were in FE9? Or were you responding to something else entirely?

I'm not saying he isn't good, it's just I've seen people going around like "Olollololo! He's so cool, his personality is the greatest and he's the awesomest charactur in teh game cause he uzes majik, and he haz a trajic passed!". He's definitely usable, and a good unit in FE9, not so much in 10, though still usable there.

Oswin... overrated? I couldn't stop laughing at that! And I'd say Soren is the most overrated... IDK, I just never found him to be the "god" that some people claim him to be... especially in FE10...

Both. They have axes, what more do you really need? One has better overall stats (Boyd), the other has a crit lead and speed lead (Largo). Both are tearing up the place. About the only more broken thing would be Axes and Staves... and flight...

He made fun of a character (Sigrun) in a game that I liked. I'm going to complain online about it! But seriously... what if's are terrible, and these are no exception.

Meh, I say Mages would suck with it. Their already abysmal damage output just went down the chute. It really just goes to show how bad they are, IMO. Their caps suck, and having great growths and bad caps isn't a good combo...
