haha, that was mistake since i copied my old list, Olivia was suppose to be married to Frederick and Nowi to Stahl. Anyway thanks for the advice both of you.

Although im still waiting to see if Czar will want to comment on hard support Noire, im starting to think i might go with this setup that was suggested: Avatar x Cynthia Chrom x Sumia Lissa x Ricken Sully x Gaius Miriel x Libra Maribelle x Lonqu Panne x Virion Cordelia x Vaike Olivia x Stahl Cherche x Henry Nowi x Stahl Tharja x Donnel One last thing on my mind is though, with these pairings i think the children would probably go like this Lucina x Yarne Inigo x Severa Kjelle x Gerome Morgan x Brady but it came to my mind, which would work better for the last two pairs, Owain x Noire + Nah x Laurent or having one gale + support instead?

Sounds pretty good, aswell as the Stahl and Fred switch. I guess ill wait Czar_Yoshi's comment about Noire and if it requires alot of pair switching still before deciding whether i wanna go with hard support or just stick Tharja and Donnel together out of lack for better options.

Thanks, this helped alot. And yeah, my Avatar's asset/flaw is +MAG -STR so very magical based Avatar, which should suit Cynthia best. So based on the stuff you said, i could switch it up like this Avatar x Cynthia Chrom x Sumia Lissa x Ricken Sully x Gaius Miriel x Libra Maribelle x Lonqu Panne x Virion Cordelia x Vaike Olivia x Stahl Cherche x Henry it feels like Henry would be better off with Cherche based on the things you said and i switched Libra and Lonqu up. My current problem is that so far ive always played Tharja x Gaius pairup but now i wanna try something different with the Sully x Gaius. Only problem is, im not sure how best take advantage of Tharja now, especially with the remaining husbands. Same thing with Nowi aswell. Current child pairups would be Lucina x Yarne and Severa x Inigo. Still thinking my other options. Morgan of course needs to take advantage of that Aether somehow, that's for sure. But would she be better off with hard supporter or double galeforce?

Will keep this in mind, though im not yet 100% set on these pairings, which is why i asked if there was anything anyone would have recommended to switching around for possibly better results. Though of course if nobody sees a need to speak up, these will most likely be the pairings i will go with then. Also, still hoping for some advice on the children aswell, based on the pairings i posted or any recommendations from others naturally.

Yeah, the goal was to ironman whole game on lunatic(ingame part without grinding, DLC with grinding) + DLC on top of that, meaning Apo aswell as the other challenge DLCs. Im still considering the no brave weapons aswell, though haven't made up my mind yet about that 100%. Then again, all this planning wouldn't really be worth it if i don't do it :P Yoshi: I have given some consideration to the child pairings aswell, other than the obvious Avatar x Cynthia but i haven't come up with solid choices on those yet. Was thinking something in line of Inigo x Severa, Lucina x Owain or Yarne, Kjelle x Brady or Owain, Morgan x one of the galeboys, not completely sure about the others. Would be glad for some advice for that too.

Time to hit this topic once more. After some study and thinking, these are somewhat the pairings i am thinking on: Avatar x Cynthia Chrom x Sumia Lissa x Ricken Sully x Gaius Miriel x Lonqu Maribelle x Libra Panne x Virion Cordelia x Vaike Nowi x Henry Tharja x Frederick Olivia x Stahl Cherche x Gregor Any changes i should still make or am i good to go? Anything i might have missed considering my goal? Im still bit unsure about Maribelle x Libra, Cherche x Gregor and Tharja x Fred aswell.

Yeah, meant that one shot for every map and if anyone dies, game over. Currently running a Lunatic/Classic ingame run with this rule and it's been fun so far. Was thinking of changing it so that once i reach a point in the ingame where avatar can roll everything no problem, i would start grinding my team so that i can clear all the DLC with this rule aswell. And after seeing your post, started wondering if i should add even more challenge when i do Apo.

Thanks for all the help, should be enough information to go on with for now atleast. Speaking of challenges, is Apo easy to do or doable in general if you do a no reloading challenge with no deaths?

Well, originally i didn't give much thought into the challenge part but after seeing your post, i might consider the brave weapon free run since although i had heard that Apo can be broken easily, i didn't exactly know it was THAT easy. Anyway, part of the reason i asked was that i hadn't really come up with 100% sure list of pairings but i guess this would be somewhat the list i had in mind: Avatar x Cynthia/Sumia/Severa(hadn't really decided between these three) Chrom x Sumia or Olivia Lissa x Ricken Sully x Donnel Miriel x Gregor Sumia x Chrom or Avatar Maribelle x Lon'qu i guess Panne x Kellam Cordelia x Stahl Nowi x not sure Tharja x Gaius Olivia x not sure(hadn't really thought who to give her if she didn't end up with Chrom) Cherche x Vaike Czar_Yoshi's list helped alot already though, since it gave some possibilities i hadn't given any consideration before.

I know people might be tired of the question but what would be the most optimal pairings for team based around beating Apo? All the information ive looked up myself seems to be year old at the very least and im not completely sure what, if anything has changed since then, hence the question. Or maybe it can be found easily and im just blind but ohwell. Male Avatar with +Mag asset will be used but everything else is pretty much open right now.
