  1. It's actually confirmed on the official E3 website http://e3.nintendo.com/ at the calendar button on the right upper corner
  2. Judging from the chart in the preview I guess we are getting the other subordinates. Hinoka's are pixelated on purpose, but Marx' second subordinate looks a lot like Lazward. Or it could be the Nohr shapeshifter
  3. I'm really interested in Kamui's dragon form and it's significance to the story. I also noticed something: Hoshido seems to whorship a white/light dragon, while Nohr has a black/dark dragon. Kamui on the other hand has a white-black colour scheme in both their armour and their dragon form. This detail could be of importance, or just a simple design choice. Either way, I like Kamui's appearance a lot.
  4. I'm going to buy both versions anyway, but I'll start with the easier Hoshido path to get used to the new game-mechanics. So it's: Hoshido Normal Classic Reset A little grinding (if necessary)
  5. I noticed that around 6:04 they said something that sounded suspiciously like "Internet". Does it confirm that meeting other player characters isn't limited to Street Pass? Another detail I found interesting: The venetian theatre in which we've seen Aqua dance, seems to be used as a battle field as well (at 6:46). Units can even fight on the floating boats. Also does anyone else think it's weird that dragon Kamui apparently has no visible eyes?
  6. Fortune telling sounds like an interesting concept that could either make it easier or add some additional strategy to the game. Maybe the prophecy could change every time you play a chapter and depending on whether or not you choose to listen to it, there are some small differences on the map. This could include the increase/decrease of enemies stats, a slightly altered A.I. or maybe different weapons. E.g. something along the lines of “The enemy’s eager to attack” could indicate that opposing units are much more aggressive and have strength +1. Or “watch your back” would give a hint for reinforcements. Another interesting addition would be a slight chance that the predictions are false. So you can’t rely on them entirely, but rather keep a back-up plan in mind. However, I don’t think that Nyx would take that role. If she would, the fortune telling would be exclusive to Nohr. It would rather be an optional “My Castle” building.
  7. Seeing how Kamui, Marx, Ryouma and (possibly) Aqua wield unique-looking weapons, I'm curious how they will handle them gameplay-wise. Will they give stat boost/penalties like normal weapons, have extraordinary effects or will they just look fancy? On one hand they are the "canon" weapons that should be strong enough to give players a reason to use them throughout the game, but on the other they shouldn't be too "broken" early on. Also regarding the possible effects of the weapons, how would it affect fighting against Marx/Ryouma? Could they even be effective against dragon-type units like Kamui? Or maybe against each other? What are your thoughts?
  8. I’m all for LGBT relationships in Fire Emblem If. It would be a good step in the right direction. But as much as I’d love to have it in the game, I have to admit that it’s difficult. So I’ve thought about it a lot and would like to bring up an idea: Instead of making a few selected characters LGBT, or all of them bisexual, why not go the obvious route and make Kamui’s sexuality “undetermined”? As in let them S-support whoever they want? I mean since Kamui is supposed to represent the player anyway, why not? You wouldn’t have the problem of a few characters having limited supports because they aren’t straight. Also you wouldn’t have to worry about tropes, bad characterization and focusing merely on their sexuality, because the main character is obviously more than that. From the standpoint of IS and Nintendo it would also be the easiest and most effortless way, since (assuming that the Avatar still gets to support anyone) you could simply add a few additional S-supports. Also imagine how easily it would fit into the game’s main theme: having a choice. It depends on the player if the Avatar dates the opposite or same sex. The player technically chooses the sexuality of their MU depending on how they play the game. I’d say making Kamuis sexuality “unconfirmed” would be the way to go. Even though I’d like to have more LGBT representation in-game, realistically speaking, we probably won’t get anything more than that. (At least at the moment.)
