It's IntSys who worked on the models, not Treehouse. I doubt they'd give a crap about getting rid of them. (I don't particularly care either way, btw)

The thing is, drugging people without their consent isn't a cool thing to do. At all. Ever. And it draws a pretty creepy parallel to women in real life being drugged by men. Like... it's right there. And this is the protagonist doing this. This is the guy who we're supposed to like and project into (considering we choose their gender, appearance and date of birth, and we look through their eyes during cutscenes). People who choose to play as male Kamui are expected to see his support with Soleil and be like "yeah lol that's totally a normal thing to do". And I know this is a game about war and people do horrible things all the time blah blah blah but this is portrayed as an okay thing to do. Soleil still likes Kamui after this. This isn't portrayed as the nasty creepy thing that it is. The social justice thing wasn't directed at you :( Sorry it seemed that way.

She isn't altered by it because IntSys sucks at writing characters reacting like people actually would. Sorry, but there's no way in hell you could do something like that to someone in real life and they'd still like you and want to marry you. This isn't even about the whole "why can't Soleil S-rank girls" thing (which is pretty dumb, don't get me wrong, but not my main point), this is about a character knowingly giving a drug to someone without their consent. A drug that radically alters their perception of the world, no less. Like even if you refuse to see the ~~ewww social justice~~ side of it, it's just poor writing. It's a shit pairing, frankly.

It's the closest thing to date rape without actually being date rape. Putting hot sauce in your friend's milk doesn't radically change their perception of the world (i.e drug them). Maybe rape is such a ~hot button topic~ because it's a horrible traumatic experience that can permanently destroy a person's life? I dunno, just sayin'. And anything a person does after ingesting a drug they didn't want is, by definition, against their will.

Like, everywhere. This is literally date rape. This is disgusting. IS has crossed far too many lines with this game. I don't usually like censoring in games because I think there's no point; even if it's a bad thing, it was already there in the original game, and the damage has been done and translators shouldn't pretend that it never happened. But this is the one thing I hope they do censor.

A parent teaching their child to fight makes a lot more sense than the child just inheriting their parent's fighting abilities via genetics, anyway.

Soooo... someone said they saw the option to S-rank Zero as a male Kamui? Well, from 4chan: Under "Ending.txt", there is: MEID_その後_S_プレイヤー男_同性婚 MEID_その後_S_ゼロ_同性婚 which is MC(Male) X Zero, and MEID_その後_S_プレイヤー女_同性婚 MEID_その後_S_シャラ_同性婚 which is MC(F) x Shara (IE Tharja). 同性婚 = Same Sex Marriage, btw. For both they actually S rank with each other despite being the same gender too.

Welp, now we know why this game isn't coming out till 2016. Treehouse's got some censoring to do!
