  1. I forgot Blizzard had 5 more accuracy than Fire Blast in Gen I instead of 15 less. Also, don't waste money in the Game Corner, because you risk having to beat people based on grinding alone.
  2. I'm going to go ahead and update the available units. [spoiler=Available Units]Available Units: Cain Abel Gordin Draug Caeda Ogma Barst Cord Castor Julian Lena Navarre Merric Wolf Sedgar Wendell Caesar Radd Linde Palla Catria
  3. Other than having Really late units (and having to keep Caeda alive), there is nothing I see wrong with my team. I even have a Thief.
  4. [spoiler=Available Units] Available units: Abel Cain Gordin Draug Caeda Wrys Ogma Barst Bord Cord Castor Darros Julian Lena Navarre Merric Matthis Hardin Wolf Sedgar Roshea Vyland Wendell Rickard Bantu Caesar Radd Roger Jeorge Maria Minverva Linde Jake Midia Dolph Macellan Tomas Midia Beck Astram Palla Catria Samson Arran Est Tiki Lorenz Elice
  5. Will update OP then randomize draft order. Edit: The draft order will be: gabethegreen->Lopey Hylian Air Force->TempestStorm TempestStorm->gabethegreen Lopey->Hylian Air Force First up, gabethegreen choosing for Lopey.
  6. In Chapter 12, the units in the cell can die if they can't be reached fast enough. You are able to position those 5 units so that they can protect them, at least until they die. What you cannot do is have units block entrances to castles to occupy reinforcements from the rear if they are unarmed and undrafted. If armed and drafted, they can wall the reinforcements until they don't show up anymore.
  7. Except that Marth is also used to recruit Wendell, meaning that penalty still applies.
  8. Name: Gazzak Age: 30 Gender: Male Class: Pirate Race: Samsaran Nationality: Shokuro Aspect: Foot Weapon: Axe Stats: HP:30(90%) Str:8(60%) Skl:5(40%) Spd:3(25%) Lck:7(60%) Def:5(40%) Res:1(10%) Con:12 Affinity: Fire Appearance: A muscular dock worker who wears a green bandana to absorb sweat with sideburns. Background: A sailor for much of his life and a pirate for nearly as long, Gazzak almost lost his life in a raid on an island with a prince of a faraway kingdom. He then sought work as a dock worker. He was still handy with an axe, however. Other: Has a healthy respect for nobility after nearly dying at the end of a Prince's Rapier. Promotion gains (Vanguard): HP+4, Str+2, Skl+1, Spd+1, Def+1, Con+4
  9. A lot of the events of the world now revolve around the politics in the USA. Going back over 100 years to the election of 1896, where Conservative Republican William McKinley defeated Democrat William Jennings Bryan. But what about the 20th century would've changed if WJB, regarded as the youngest Presidential candidate of all time, had actually been elected? Here's a list of what could be expected from this alternate history: A fairer end to World War I No Great Depression A Fascism/Democracy Cold War much more! Chapter 1: The Election A lot hinged on the Election of 1896. Grover Cleveland's Presidency was unremarkable at best, and the aristocracy of the Gilded Age didn't seem like it would going anywhere fast. On the one hand, Ohio Governor William McKinley seemed poised to let the Robber Barons of J.P. Morgan, J.D. Rockefeller, and Andrew Carnegie continue to harass and disenfranchise the public with their continuing monopolistic tendencies. On the other hand, young Nebraska Representative William Jennings Bryan brought hope to the poorer masses by wanting to implement the Silver, rather than the Gold, standard. One of the most rhetorical speeches he gave was the "Cross of Gold" speech, which all but cemented his place in the White House. The only reason why he won by a close margin was because of the Robber Barons choosing to back William McKinley. After his inauguration without incident, the Robber Barons prepared for the end of their "rule" over the economy. President Bryan called for criminal trials against Carnegie Steel, Standard Oil, and J.P. Morgan and Co. The fallout from these trials broke up Standard Oil, cost J.P. Morgan and Co. many hundreds of thousands of dollars, and saw Carnegie Steel become a national industry. However, the personal fortunes of the Robber Barons were unaffected by the trials, as they had feared, but they all suddenly faced an identity crisis. Without their companies to invest in, they suddenly found themselves becoming philanthropic, which improved all of their reputations immensely. Many conservatives criticized the White House for implementing, " a measure resembling Marx and Engels." Domestic feuds were the least of President Bryan's problems, however. His concern for the oppressed spread beyond the United States. The Spanish Empire, or whatever was left of it, was bringing the hammer down on rebels in Cuba and the Philippines. Wanting to exercise Monroe Doctrine, President Bryan dispatched the USS Maine to the Bay of Pigs to convince the Spanish that threatening the island's imminent sovereignty would not be tolerated. However, once it was in Spanish waters, there was a mysterious explosion aboard. Many Republicans thought it was a Spanish mine, but upon further investigation, it was revealed to be a leak in the boiler. The Spanish, however, still felt the need to try and stay relevant in European politics, and declared war upon the US. Reluctant as he was, President Bryan allowed the Navy to blockade Cuba and The Philippines while the Marines and an independent group called the "Rough Riders" led by Asst. Secretary of the Navy Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt overwhelm the Spanish forces. In a matter of days, the war was over, and both Cuba and the Philippines were liberated. Regardless of the disappointment of the Republicans to capitalize on potential spheres of influence, it was made clear to Europe that the United States of America weren't going away, and that if the right person is elected, Democratic Republicanism could work.
  10. I have edited the rules once again to SOYO standard and added a penalty for recruiting undrafted Merric and Linde for Excalibur and Aura abuse.
  11. I'm allowing reclass mechanics as normal except Wolf and Sedgar because they totally cheese the difficulty. On your request, I did up the difficulty even if it means Frey and Norne can't be forced on people. I devised this very late at night and was tired this morning. As for the other people choosing the reclass, this is meant to be hard, not Ragefest.
  12. The problem with what you said, Gradivus, is that I wanted Frey and Norne available to be drafted. Also, reclass comes in sets, with cavalier, Pegasus knight, Archer, mage, cleric, and myrmidon sharing one set, and Fighter, Pirate, Mercenary, Knight, Hunter, and Dark Mage in another.
  13. Jagen I will change, but the structure of SOYO is to potentially force someone to do something like using 9 cavaliers. But sorry if that turned you off.
  14. Once I found out about a SOYO draft a few days ago, I felt the need to do one for the universally panned FE11. A lot of the units in this game range from God to Dan Hibiki, with many of them being mostly average and on the whole forgettable. Seeing as though both SOYO drafts are for FE4, The rules for this one will differ slightly. 1. This is a 4 player draft. 2. Marth, Xane, Gotoh, and Jagen are useable always. 3. SOYO is Screw Over Your Opponent, which means your opponents can choose your units. Being that this is FE11, some units are far worse than others. 4. Undrafted units must surrender their weapons if their recruitment is necessary, and cannot engage the enemy in combat in the instance of holding off the enemy. What undrafted units can do is recruit drafted characters (Lena and Caeda) and also meatshield to protect recruited drafted units (Dolph, Boah, Midia, Tomas, and Macellan). 4x. Killing undrafted enemy units is encouraged, and no penalty for letting thieves destroy villages with undrafted characters. 4xx. 5 turn penalty for Merric and Linde recruiting if using Excalibur and/or Aura. 5. Hard 1 to even out Marth and the cavs. 6. Warp use is banned. 7.Nagi is useable by those not forced to use Tiki. 8. Reclass is only allowed to fill a slot not filled by another class type, and Sedgar and Wolf cannot reclass. 9. Arena abuse is banned. 10. Replacement units are allowed until you can replace them with actual units. 11. The one with the lowest turn count wins. Players: 1. Hylian Air Force 2. Lopey 3. gabethegreen 4.TempestStorm [spoiler=Teams] Teams: Lopey (Team Chip Damage) - Bantu, Midia, Arran, Beck, Jake, Boah, Est, Caesar, Wendell, Wolf, Castor, Caeda Tempest (Team NU Tier) - Matthis, Wrys, Dolph, Tiki, Jeorge, Bord, Hardin, Gordin, Lena, Abel, Sedgar, Cain Gabe (Team Prisonyard) - Macellan, Tomas, Samson, Maria, Roshea, Minerva, Darros, Navarre, Palla, Draug, Merric Air (Team Superspeed) - Elice, Lorenz, Roger, Rickard, Vyland, Astram, Radd, Linde, Cord, Catria, Julian, Barst
  15. Some questions: If and when the USSA breaks apart, will the American Federation (if you call it that) be as potentially corrupt as modern Russia? Will Britain be apart of NSTO (North Sea Treaty Organization)? As for other points, I would like to do an alternate history on what would happen if William Jennings Bryan was elected in 1896, or if Herbert Hoover were re-elected.
