  1. Smash can be both a party game and a fighting game depending on who's playing.
  2. Been having some fun with this lately. Pirate Eliwood, Monk Hector, freaking BARD WALLACE, Wyvern Rider Nils, etc. Bu they all pale in comparison to this: I had a good laugh when I saw the beefiest Cleric ever. Side note, ive run into a minor oversight. It only happened once, in the chapter that Rath joins when you have to press switches. I believe the boss was a Knight, but at the very least he was a class that could use lances. However, he was spawned with a Steel lance, which he was unble to wield and thus could not attack. If you want more detail, i can play through lyn mode again and get more specific details if you want (I already saved over the file with the chapter completed :P). Also, for some reason, When I went from Lyn mode To Eliwood mode and the characters transferred over, Dorcas kept his inventory but no one else did. Kinda dissapointing because Lyn was holding Wallace's knight crest (I literally had no knights, Cavaliers, or Soldiers to premote) and an elfire, but at least Myrmidon Kent got a brave sword. Muahahahahaha All of the 4x hits.
  3. Sorry everyone it can't happen Ridley's too big. Srsly though, a Fire Emblem fighter would be fantastic. I wouldnt have to rely on Project M skin mods to play as Hector for once
  4. inb4 5 skill inb4 15% Skill growth inb4 rip axe wielders inb4 rip Hector
  5. Hmm ok. With all this information together it makes a lot more sence. So its not just one or two factors, its a bunch of little things that add up to lower accuracy. Very interesting, I'll keep this all in mind as I play, especially the WTA percent difference and the extra avoid on thrones.
  6. I've beaten Shadow Dragon (didnt use fighters in that one), Awakening (Fighters were decent, not my favorite class), and FE7 (Used Hector as my main Axe guy, with Dorcus and Hawkeye as secondary Axers). I'm currently going through FE6, Sacred Stones, and New Mystery of the Emblem. Still super early in both FE6 and New Mystery, I'm midgame in Sacred Stones.
  7. Hm so its not just me then. That's good to know. And yeah I know Marcus is an EXP drain, but at the same time he seems to be the the only consistant way to kill those damn Bern wyvern riders in chapter 7 (ive had to redo the chapter several times because i get screwed over by accuracy >.>). Marcus aside, I do know how useful Fighters and Warriors can be, yet how risky they are to use because of their accuracy problem. I reset fe7 many a time because I overestimated Dorcus. I'll keep in mind how importiant Skill is when I find a secret book lol. Man soldiers really dropped the ball on weapon accuracy classes since Eliwood's time
  8. I'm on chapter 7 of my first playthrough, and I've noticed that my attacks tend to miss a lot more consistantly than in other FE games, even when compared other two gba games. In some cases, even with the weapon triangle advantage, I'm only up to about 70 hit! The only characters that seem to hit consistantly are Lugh, Rutger, Roy, Chad, and Marcus (Thany and Lance are ok with it I guess). Fighters had it the worst. I've completely given up on Ward, and I pretty much keep Lot around at this point for the occasional battle with high strength lance-wielders. I know that fighters are known for high strength low hit, but this is ridiculous So that begs the question: is this caused by bad luck, bad level-ups on my part, is this an early game thing, or is accuracy in this game worse than other FE games? If you want some info on my characters feel free to ask (btw theyre all fairly evenly leveled, though Lugh is the only one at level 10).
  9. Why thank you for the tea, kind sir. I see why they call you Teamaster But seriously, thanks for the welcome guys, I appriciate it!
  10. How is everyone today? I'm Sadisticorc, but you can call me Orc if you want! I first got into Fire Emblem a few years ago when my friend let me borrow Shadow Dragon, but my real love of the series hit when I got Awekening! I've since played and beaten FE7 and am currently playing Hector mode FE7, Sacred Stones, FE6, and New Mystery of the Emblem (Fan translations for the latter two). Yeah. I play too many things at once. But anyways, I've been using the actual Forest section of this site for info for quite a while, so i decided to make an account here. So here's some fun facts about me: Hector is my Favorite FE character, with Owain probably being a close second. Apparently I like hot-blooded characters lol. The character that is most like my personality (of the games ive played so far) is most likely Stahl. I prefer my RPGs on handhelds, because i can grind wherever I want. I also like Fighting games, with Smash Bros. being the one I have the most experience in (Don't have a Wii U though ). I currently main Shulk and Lucas, with Marth. Zero Suit Samus, Roy, and Link being Secondary Characters. I own a Wii, a PS2, a 3ds, and an Xbox 360. Despite my username, I consider myself a pretty nice guy. I also may or may not be an actual Orc. My 3ds apparently hates my router, as it refuses to connect unless the router has JUST been rebooted. RIP Smash Bros online. I miss Triangle attacks. Ok I think that's enough of that. I look forward to talking some FE with what I assume to be one of the biggest Fire Emblem Forums! If for whatever reason you have a question, feel free to ask!
