  1. Bit confused by your explanation. So you hit the mage leaving him on 11hp, then devil reversal happened on a missed attack which killed him instead of doing 7 damage? or did he miss and then double you which killed himself? If you chose not to randomize thieves (default) then yes Colm will always be a thief.
  2. Redownload the patch to fix debuffs, and classes are randomized per chapter so since they're knights in the same chapter Breguet and Gilliam will be the same class.

  4. v1.3 is here! Yes it's soon after v1.2 but there's actually quite a few new things added: Additions - Random Class Skills option: Shuffles all learned skills per class! (innate skills e.g. Canto/Shove not shuffled) - Skill Scrolls (learn a random skill) added to drop list and prep screen shop - Amnesia Scrolls (forget a learned skill) also added - Thracia Mode! Put "776" somewhere in your seed to give everyone Capture, set Hit to 1RN and between 1-99! Tweaks - Stats no longer overflow/underflow (e.g. demon king HP) - Dancers and Bards animations don't crash if they double - Flashy mode now works in vanilla! (all boss kill attacks show the critical animation) - All items can be sold or discarded - Debuffs now clear properly between chapters - Scripted battles end correctly when one character dies - Nosferatu and Devil Axe fixed in Vanilla Mode Skills - Skills learned per class redistributed to reflect the new skills available - Wary fighter removed from dancers/bards since it doesn't crash any more - When forgetting a skill, you can press R to see the skill description - Fixed various Capture glitches

  7. I'm afraid that's because the PSP emulator is not accurate. I've run it on both 3DS virtual console and an actual GBA and there's no lag there.
  8. I've thought about adding a 2RN-style randomization so that extreme values are less likely, but maybe that's just reducing the fun - if you wanted less variation you could just choose to have less variation.
  9. Yeah the growth randomization probably would have broken the metis tome - and it definitely would break the green +5.
  10. If it breaks on speedup only that sounds like an emulator problem... See if it still breaks in VBA-M or mGBA?
  11. Lots of great feedback here btw that will make it into v1.2 Which emulator are you using? And what name did you put? They are, but you're not supposed to be able to get any so I think I did something wrong..
  12. Try resetting and holding L to turn animations off and see if it still crashes?
