  1. Also worth mentioning that you'll be out an extra $20 dollars if you buy both routes physically. Keep in mind that buying the second route digitally is half the normal price.
  2. Well, he starts out at lv 5, so you can't reclass right away. Although it probably only takes a short while to gain 5 levels. However, idk when you get your first parallel seal so as to reclass him.Edit: Looking now, I guess parallel seals don't require you to be lv 10 like in awakening. Still need to get one though. Regarding luninareph, the "advantages" you gave to adventurer!odin were pretty pitiful. So he has slightly better magic, that still hardly justifies going through the trouble to make him an adventurer. You get plenty of staff wielders throughout the game (Elise, Felicia, Jacob, Asyura, Izana). I doubt you need one more. But feel free to try it if you want, but don't expect most others to bother. As it is, most people that use him will likely use him within one of his 2 base lines, assuming they bother to use him at all. I want him on the samurai line because of the nostalgia for sword hand. I can't get that satisfaction from adventurer.
  3. If your going to go to the trouble to use him, why not reclass over to trueblade/weapon master? Thats at least somewht unique for Nohr. Why bother with adventurer when Zero does that better anyways?
  4. Lets go down the list, shall we?>unbreakable weapons Was in Fe gaiden, so technically not new. Also, its a straight up improvement. Weapon uses were worthless in awakening, since you could easily restock between battles. Never had to worry about future stores not selling what you wanted. Ultimately, I like the weapons of fates, since each one has drawbacks and advantages. That and it will take away the tediousness of weapon uses, which might have only mattered in Nohr. >Unbalanced difficulties Lunatic+ was idiotic, sure, but thats not returning. Other than that, its difficult to judge difficulty without playing. Honestly, it seems fine from the gameplay I've seen. Normal is easy, Hard is normal, and Lunatic is likely very hard. >Grinding Grindings been around from the beginning via arenas. You don't want the grind dlc, don't buy it. Nohr has no grinding outside of dlc, so theres that too. >Children Implementation is stupid, but whatever. I get not!cordelia so it's fine in my book. Also, they're not ests. They level based on story progression, and can potentially promote right away and be of immediate use. Buy it, it looks amazing. The new pair up and weapons systems seem to make gameplay leagues better than awakening. Support the series.
  5. As I recall the map is rated a 2 star difficulty. IS likely wanted to make the classes available earlier in the game so players can get the most use out of them.
  6. This is sort of off topic, but are you the actual Kaceytron, or is that just a joke? On topic, map is pretty cool. Saw some gameplay, ballistician seems just as cool as I'd thought it'd be form what little i've seen of it before. I particularly like the fireballs they shoot in regular combat.
  7. I feel like just a little bit of context could have made Xanders character much better. Selena is a great comparison, since if I remember correctly, the emperor saved her life. That was perfect for her character, since it at least gives us a reason for her unwavering loyalty. Yet that was only mentioned in a few lines of text, during the actual story. Sure, there are supports that reference Garon being nice, but nothing in the actual story. Would a flashback have been so hard to do, in order to justify Xanders position. Especially considering how important he is to the story. Even then, given the fact that he clearly has his doubts about his father, there is no reason for the revelation that something is wrong to come at the end of the game. Instead of Kamui being an idiot and just completely going with the Hoshido invasion, they should have Kamui attempt to convince his siblings that something is wrong with Garon. Perhaps as the invasion goes on he can get Elise, Camilla, and Leo on his side. Then perhaps Kamui can drop some hints or something to Xander that something is wrong. Scrap the "Takumi is possessed" bit, and instead have Takumi or another sibling die. Make that the final straw to then betray Garon, fight Xander, knock some sense into him, and fight Garon.
  8. I don't think you can really compare sprites to a 3D model. As for tellius, the battle models in PoR were quite bland (Although the biggest problem was the robotic animations). RD overall improved (Probably the only thing it did better than PoR), but I still think Awakening/Fates have the best battles. Battles are fast and fluid. Imo, biggest problem isn't about exposing legs or chests, but rather the clipping which is what is most notable. However, battles are so fast that I barely care about that.
  9. Boss A2 and B2 are the best boss themes of the game. Better than any of awakenings imo. As a whole I think Fates ost is better than Awakenings. Now if only they had enemy turn themes :(
  10. After the whole soleil thing, can you blame me. I didn't mean it as bait or anything.I do see your point though, so I took it out. Reputation of the game should hardly matter. Nintendo doesn't have to worry as much about fans complaining, they're usually worried about what outsiders say. Take Binding of Isaac for instance. There were plenty of 3DS users that wanted it, but Nintendo was afraid to put it on their systems initially. It's the family friendly mentatlity they seem to think they need to keep. Given the direction Nintendo has been going as of late, there's no reason for them to take amie out internationally. I suppose there is rating to be worried about, but I can't see that being a problem. Fates has no real reason for an m rating, aside from maybe the stripping part, which I would say is "worse" than amie, but still not that bad.
  11. I could understand toning down some of the s rank lines, since from what I've heard, they're quite... suggestive. That being said, games like GTA, which features buyable prostitutes, sell tons of copies internationally. I don't think something as benign as amie would cause much of a stir.
  12. Remove it? Not likely. Like it or not, fan service is what saved fire emblem, there's no way in hell that they are going to remove amie, the ultimate in fan service.
  13. Imo, fuuga largely makes up for his jeigan level growths with great bases. I believe he has the highest base hp, str, and def, with solid skl and spd as well.
  14. A question for op, in Sakuras description you mention about how xp gain is higher for a promoted class if you promote earlier (so similar to awakening). My question is, do you think it's a better idea to promote early like it was in awakening, or would it be better to get the early lvs like in older FE games? Given that lv no longer resets, I thought it would be once again better to lv through tier 1 classes, but now I'm not so sure given that eternal seals are more of a roadblock than an actual limit. Btw, do you know if there is a max lv, or do eternal seals go on forever?
  15. Nope, go watch some japanese gameplay. No alt overview animations. Theres also no enemy turn music, which is something else that bugged me.As for animations, I think the 3ds animations are great. As much as I loved PoR, it's animations were pretty bad. Rd's were better, but I hated Rd, so meh. I don't mind clipping, so long as the animations are fluid. Also, I love being able to speed up battle scenes, and change camera position. It's those little things that make it so great for me.
