  1. I'm glad this hack isn't using the updated names; "Raquesis" still makes me cringe. That being said...OMG IT'S REAL!!! Downloading now!
  2. Looks awesome! That...April 1st date has me a little skeptical all of a sudden, though...
  3. Words cannot express how excited I am about this.
  4. OMG Sqawl! Long time, no see! Glad to see this project is still alive. It looks great so far.
  5. Yay, Arden is useful! ...Words cannot express how hyped I am for this project.
  6. Here's a Heimler and Kannival I made AGES ago. They're all yours if you want 'em, Arch.
  7. I made a Heimler sprite way back when that I think you asked me about. Do you still want it, Arch?
  8. Basically this in a nutshell. Everything looks fantastic!
  9. Baldur: Seliph Fala: Azel Neir: Lex Ulir: Briggid Hezul: Eldigan Noba: Quan Dain: Travant Tordo: Reptor and Ishtar Forseti: Lewyn Naga: Deirdre Blagi: Claude Odo: Ayra None: Fury
  10. Ah, this brings back memories. Good luck, Arch!
  11. Thanks, Arch! http://www.filedropper.com/fe4aevents I hope this link works; I've never done this sort of thing before...
  12. I've been watching this topic for a while, and it looks fantastic! Bravo, good sir!
  13. I found it! ...I have no idea how to get it to you, though, since I can't attach a rar file to a post...
  14. I'm positive I have it lying around somewhere. I remember downloading it immediately, though apart from not deleting it I don't have any clue what I did with it.
  15. I've been wanting to insert my own portraits into FE4 for ages now, but...can anyone please tell me how the SFC compressor in the FEBinary section works? The readme that came with it isn't very detailed, and there doesn't seem to be a tutorial anywhere on how to use it. Has anyone figured this out?
  16. Legend of Paper Zelda? I thought The Wind Waker was already sort of paper-ish. Hmm... I haven't much hope for a Seisen remake, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a remake of Gaiden. It seemed kind of odd to me that Nintendo would remake Monshou and skip Gaiden entirely.
  17. I edited Tiltyu. She's still a WIP, however. And...my take on the Crusader Tordo for a hack I'm currently working on. The face is custom, the rest is gratuitous splicing.
  18. I started a sprite topic months ago, but after venturing deeper into the field of customization I decided it was time to start afresh. Most of these are still works-in-progress, some more complete than others. Young Blume. I did this for a hack of mine ages ago; neither the hack nor the sprite was ever finished, but I'll get back to them one of these days... Reptor and Tiltyu. These were based on both TCG art as well as sprites from the FE Binary patches. They're a bit pixelated, but they're improving slowly but surely. A splice, but also my personal mug. I also have a blue and purple version, but I like this one best. And Joseph, who's been a constant WIP since time immemorium. He's technically a splice that eventually took on a life of his own. I must have modified his design half a dozen times and given up on him twice that, but he just refuses to die. Most of the alteration was done to his coat, but I did some touch-ups on the face as well.
  19. After running FE4 through every graphics editor/viewer I could find, I discovered an interesting tidbit about compression - namely, portrait compression. Thanks to Peekin's sprite viewer, I've found that the normally-compressed portraits are actually uncompressed in savestates. For example, after creating a savestate of Chapter 6, I found Skasaher's portrait and frames. I'm assuming this was because I had the cursor on him at the time; having the cursor on Celice and creating a savestate might result in different frames. What I'm wondering now is, could the graphics in the savestate be used in a roundabout way to locate and edit the graphics data in the actual ROM? The weapon and skill icons can be edited in a Tile program, but since portraits can't I'm hoping that this might be a step in the direction of portrait editing.
  20. All right, I've made up my mind to give Thracia a go! Thanks for all the info, everyone!
  21. I've never played Thracia 776 (I'm ashamed to admit it), and I was just wondering what the general consensus is. Is it harder/easier than Seisen, and if so by how much? I understand there are several new gameplay mechanics that sort of bridge the gap between Seisen and the GBA FEs, but I'm still in the dark as to most of it. I like FE games to be difficult, but not overkill, and I'm afraid that if Thracia 776 is too complicated it might deter me from trying it. So, what I'm asking is, just how difficult is Thracia?
  22. After over a year in dabbling in GBA FE editing, I've decided to try my hand at hacking a different system and game: FE4, to be exact. Unfortunately, as far as text editing goes, I have no idea where to begin. Is there any sort of tool outside of a hex editor that can be used to edit text in Seisen? Thanks in advance!
  23. *Double takes* I was afraid this project was dead! Good to see it's still alive and well!
  24. Thanks!:) The custom is still technically a WIP. I haven't done much with it recently, though.
