I always support her with Gonzalez and neither is really bad. Yes she needs babysitting but I still find it much easier with her than with Roy and after promotion she doubles regularly and hit like truck. There is no better anima spellcaster (even if that doesn't say a lot).

So I finally got Effie (-HP, +Atk) so I decided put some work and build Armor emblem (Zephiel5*/Sheena5*/Hector5*/Effie 4*) Here is the issue: Effie boon make her ideal for brave built (I think), but I would like give her eventually distant counter to cover for red mages Hector might struggle with, that would require pretty much opposite built and SP are not unlimited. What do you think I should go with?

With few exceptions lords aren't best fighters around You get other units weaken. boss and just deliver finish blow for convoy and exp which non-powerhouse lords need so bad. Lords doesn't have dueling (outside of arena) in their job description.

I think Lyn getting Murgleis would make sense. Even with bows being secondary weapon it would still make better sense than Asspull Katti. Hector got legendary axe, Eliwood got legendary sword so it would make sense for Lyn get also one. It being associated with her homeland is logical as well. Story would need some additional details, but result would be better. I may be bit biased because Reinfleche!Lyn >>>>>>>Katti!Lyn, so I am always bit salty when it's turn be completely useless in very last fight.

If I had second Tharja... I would make Tharja+1. Of course not having Sanaki make it much easier decision but it's not like like you often need multiple red mages so one stronger instead is better.

I think if you have DC to spare, he can became best red coloured mage killer in game (and competent sword unit overall). If you don't Xander is objectively better.

Considering swords with inbuilt distant counter have middling resistance. Lloyd might be good idea to put it on him instead most of other units. He has both good attack and speed so he could probably go without standard furry/death blow.

I think Regal blade is excellent weapon and being in Lloid having decent stats himself is indeed anything but too shabby. What is his max res anyway?Does he profit from Iceberg?

In the end in turned to be more challenging that I though it would be (for Hector), but still no major problem. On right side of map Hector killed mage and archer and weakened spear. But I had to finish it with Azura so he can retreat from Lloid range. Cordelia than finished him. In mean time Eldigan had field day with completely abandoned axe flier on left.

I definitely wouldn't want just make it into Fates/PoR/Awakening clone. -For one unbreakable weapons are bad idea. -I would leave dancers as supporting units only (at most with self-defense mechanics) maybe just added some buffing/rebuffing. -Unlimited supports. Maybe just maybe S rank ones could be done, but still number of supports should be limited per game. So one can be motivated play it again. Of course allowing make couples outside Roy's harem is must. -No Lyn in Sacae. Unless it comes in pocket with FE 7 echoes and transfers data's. In other hand rebalancilpng some units wouldn't be bad. -Cecilia gett - add map or two with swords for chance level Gwen ect... Of course Roy need promote sooner.

Isn't chance stand by your hero meaningful enough on it's own? I don't regret rooting for Sanaki (though I would prefers she were defeated by someone less bland). Getting more feathers as result isn't bad thing either. Getting heated in battle is inevitable, but afterward one should just forgive and forget in name of good sportsmanship.
