  1. If you're willing to lose a dancer you can easily get +20 Avo on a sword user with Sword Avo. Stack that with Alert + and you can get an easy +50 Avo, +60 if you're a flying class which gets a base +10. Add the +20 from rank and you're sitting at 80, 100 with battalions and 10 more with the ring. That's 100 as a non flying and 110 as a flying class. I'm trying for that on Petra, I'm going to make her a sword master with the dancer skill and see how high I can get her avo.
  2. I see so many people talking about Marianne as a healer, she's really a lot more than that. Her offensive spell list is extremely good and crit oriented, Fimbulvetr and Aura crit very consistently and do ridiculous damage, Blutgang and Beast Fang are also very strong offensive options, or if you decide to go for her lance budding talent you'll get a very strong lance art that scales with her amazing Res. Marianne is built to be a dark/holy knight (both are just as good, depends which you prefer) because of her Riding strength and her budding talent in lances. Her healing spells are just cherry on top of the cake. Yeah she can be on the slow side but it's not that big of a deal when she one shots a lot of things easily, and her slow speed can be somewhat remedied by getting a Paladin certification (super easy with her Riding strength) which will kick her to 17 strength and boost her AS by 1 and even possibly 2. She was one of the best units in my GD playthrough. Lysithea has a lot more raw power, but the mobility that you get from Holy/Dark Knight and her reliable crits made Marianne just as useful for me. Lysithea can also get a horse but considering her spell list, and warp especially, Gremory is better for her.
  3. Dimitri has that privilege because Atrocity is busted. Someone theoricrafted a 1500 damage hit on 4chan.
  4. By endgame I had 3 of those weapons, so it's definitely possible to get a few of them, but you gotta select them carefully and they're definitely only for the very end. That said they're not exactly necessary since a lot of weapons that are just as good are given for free, such as the Zoltan Weapons, the Axe of Ukonvasara, relic weapons..
  5. Rhea's fall into insanity in the Empire route makes a lot more sense though. Byleth is everything to her, in the most literal of ways. For Edelgard Byleth is just someone she has known for a year who might not even be her main teacher depending on which route you took.
  6. I think Golden Deer is a good first route because it's the most "lore" heavy and it Which means you get a nicer understanding of the other routes as a result.
  7. There's a Paralogue that explains a lot about the Death Knight.
  8. Oh right, Gilbert is very sparsely available though, which is probably why I forgot him lol.
  9. Ferdinand is probably the "hardest" character to recruit because you need at least D+ in Heavy Armor since his B support is timegated, and getting D+ Heavy Armor is very hard outside of Faculty Training, no seminars for it and well you kinda need to make your character an Armor Knight and it's not super easy to begin with with E Heavy Armor. Adding the fact that Heavy Armor training is only available from Alois IIRC. That requirement is garbage. The only other gated B support is Caspar but Brawling is easy to raise.
  10. They're permanent and they can be nifty. Lysithea's swords allow her to reclass in a sword master very easily for instance, which bumps her Strength to 17, thus mitigating 2 AS loss from weight (or 1 if she has above 10 strength already), which is in my opinion totally worth the Advanced Seal.
  11. I don't see why Petra would side with the Empire, she's a glorified hostage to the Empire so Brigid doesn't stir shit, she'd probably side against Edelgard to free herself from that arrangement.
  12. So.. do we know what the level cap is yet? Some people claim it to be 50 but others claim to have characters above 50.
  13. Might be an odd one out but I just want an infinite grind DLC because I'm really curious to see how you can break the game with multiclassing and all. But I also don't wanna play on normal.
  14. Ingrid low tier? I disagree I have not seen a single good Caspar though, so I gotta agree for him. Flayn is also terribly meh. Marianne is kinda slow but her res is ridiculous, give her swords and Soul Blade and she starts killing things extremely easily.
  15. It's definitely weaker for the person benefiting from it, but for the Adjudant itself it's very good. It's basically a great way to level up weak units because they get a lot of xp from kills even if they're just accompanying someone.
