It's a world without any racism and any worlds are free to explore and others can all live in peace and harmony no matter what culture and skin colour they have. It's something that this world needs, but will unfortunately, maybe, never have. You should at least give Dorothea a chance, not trying to force you to like a character or anything, but she actually has a pretty good reason as to why she dresses like she does. Some spoilers below, if you don't mind them. I just, recommend giving her at least a chance.

Expect Claude DIDN'T WANT TO START A WAR. Claude didn't want to create bloodshed. Yes, he agreed with Edelgard, but he didn't "agree" when it came to Edelgard declaring a war. Claude had to fight back in the end though, because Edelgard was going to take over the country and make his dreams of a world without any racism impossible and she was going to kill him, Byleth and the rest of the Golden Deer students eventually. If sounds like who you want as a character is not Claude but a I would say it's the other way around that SS is the recycled version of GD because that's the optional split off from the main Black Eagles route.

If she had moved on then it would be fine however from memory when you marry her to somebody else whom actually gives her attention and knows that she actually exists, she still thinks about Chrom. Yes, it's very unhealthy. I think the game wanted you to take pity on her and desire to marry her instead lol ? Just a theory. It sucks because I actually shipped her with Chrom almost straight away and then you quickly learn that Chrom just doesn't really care about her whatsoever and she can't seem to let the crush on him go which is a tad annoying and depressing. Chrom isn't even that good looking lol

That's mental illness for you. I'm getting really personal here, but we know that the voices are not real, but the big problem is that they can feel and seem very real. It sucks, and you can feel trapped by them. I've heard that Dimitri's PTSD was done very realistically ? Not saying that they all resort to actions like murder, just that well, it's not pretty. They can feel emotionally numb, detached and distant from other people, and have angry outbursts and aggressive behaviour. That sounds like what Dimitri goes through. Just standing up for the whole "voices in the head", thing and his mental illness.

Robin was fun and entertaining at first, but now the whole avatar idea just feels rather tiresome and dry when the ''main character " of the game has characterization of a piece of wood. Having Edelgard, Claude and Dimitri be the main characters and be more front and centre would of given Three Houses much more story strength. Edit: And I guess Rhea ?

Edit: As for Fleche she didn't even really do that much harm towards Dimitri due to his good amour protection and Felix's Father taking most of the hit. I assume that most of the other kids would've had the same experience as not even Edelgard's dagger could do much effect. Dimitri was protected well. Just Dimitri VS Children Soldiers ? They wouldn't of had a chance in hell. Is it justified ? I say no.

I said this because FE Awakening was my first Fire Emblem game and I'm not the best at tactical games like Fire Emblem. Also Fates was pretty much split up to be more newbie friendly with Birthright and more aimed towards more experienced players with Conquest while Awakening was one full game that had more fairest towards everybody. If you found Three Houses and Awakening to be too easy, easy, and tedious then good for you. More power to you.

Plus FE Awakening already exists ? So the whole Birthright being for newbies and Conquest being for more experienced players felt....pointless. Awakening was already perfect for both groups and was one game whole. Both games also had a Phoenix Mode too, so why not just make one full game for both parties and include the Phoenix Mode ?? Money, I guess ??

Bingo. Not everybody is going to like or even agree with Edelgard. About the part with Dimitri, disagree ? This man has murdered what the game has hinted to be innocent people off the battlefield. Dimitri only "redeems", because he chooses too and the game really badly wants you to feel sorry for him. Not going to happen, sorry not sorry Edel however, is going to keep on walking forward no matter what and she doesn't see herself as needing to redeem. Why should she "redeem" ? It would be so OOC for her because she strongly believes that she's in the right and is doing the right thing for a better future for her country.

I feel like this is a massive problem with most Fire Emblem games and Fire Emblem as a whole and not just Fates. It's one of the big reasons why FE just cannot become my most favorite series.

Anyways, I don't agree with Edelgard or her motives, and believe that Claude had familiar wishes to Edelgard, but didn't want to start bloodshed and therefore he makes Edel look a bit foolish and overrated etc etc etc going to fly out of here.

If Claude wants to challenge the church and Rhea, then she would completely snap and try and take him down. Rhea wouldn't take too nicely to this, and Claude knows this. Rhea is nice towards you, unless you challenge her and I don't think she would ever listen to Claude or his schemes... in fact trying to trick Rhea would just make her even more furious, I feel Rhea is like a ticking bomb, you don't want to accidentally push the wrong trigger with her. Yes, he managed to talk out Lorenz, but Rhea is so very different. Claude could TRY, but he fancies his head too much, I feel.

Not sure if I agree though, as the war and the truth about Edelgard being the Flame Emperor makes Dimitri mentally snap and Claude loses everybody, or dies. They only come out of it okay if the professor is with them, if Byleth isn't with them, then the war completely destroys them both. Maybe if they both came out of the war somewhat okay with or without Byleth then I would agree.
