Anyone know specifically when the DLC is supposed to go live? It's the 16th in Japan right now.

Thanks. The post mentions the apparent retail numbers, so it works for me. Simple math would place the total number of special editions at around 47,250 (though of course this is just an estimate).

Shame they aren't more specific with the numbers of the different versions. Should mention that the 400,000 includes both digital and retail.

Japanese website updated with the new map pack. https://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/bfwj/download/map3.html The Scramble maps will have the special illustrations. (Assuming that's Oboro I'm seeing, there, I like.) Also, the Scrambles are one star, and Memories of Foam (I think it was) is 3 stars.

EU Fates release date seems likely. Pokemon Sun/Moon footage seems likely Nintendo is totally make sure they show off the game before the CoroCoro leaks. One thing I'm hoping shows up, at least as far as the Japanese Direct goes, is that they show off the final DLC set for Fates, because it's been quite a while since DLC set 2 ended there.

Glad to hear that Fates sold as well as it did, though I was kinda hoping Nintendo would've announced how many special editions they made for the game.

I just got home from Gamestop with my Special Edition. And I was really lucky, because the employee working there said that I was the only one that preordered the SE from their store. Either way, I'm happy :)

I think the only reason anyone would try and turn back the clock would be if they got the special edition and took it back with them just to say they got the game early.

Either way, it's interesting that our game has something that's not in the Japanese version is in ours. Even if it's enemy only, it makes the game harder. We should try and ask reviewers if they've come across the Mire tome, whether it's enemy only, or if we can obtain it.

Probably. It's usually mom and pop shops that break street dates anyway. Doubt any of them would have the special edition, though, which is the main one people want.

Well, hearing that Strategists are still there is interesting, but I already heard that Basara was the same, which is why I didn't mention it in my previous post. But taking a close look at the Nohr article has a few other things worth mentioning. 1. Niles' personal skill is also named Capture. 2. 2 of the skills Laslow had, which Soleil could get, are Good Fortune and Strong Riposte. Good Fortune is Stubbornness, but no way to identify Strong Riposte. 3. Selena's personal skill is Fierce Rival. 4. The male equivalent of Demoiselle is Gentilhomme. 5. Forrest's Foul Play is renamed Fierce Counter.
