Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. I can't believe I delayed my games as long as possible without loosing aether or free matches and haven't spent stones yet, but still managed to mess up twice already. Once by not going for 80 in my first match and again by not upgrading the Aether Amphorae before my first free match and capping at 100 aether instead of going to 102. I'm at 1200 after 12 matches now, I guess I'll play my free match today and then finally commit to the bonus structures for next week to get the dew for the level 3 amphorae, so I get some more time to ponder if I'm confident enough to drop 20 points on purpose. Also a big thanks to everyone discussing their strategies here. The insight is always helpful when formulating my own.

Ok, thank you. I think i'll take the bonus structures for this and next season which will generate exactly the dew needed for two upgrades of the aether amphorae. Also something to keep in mind, once we reach 4000 lift, which is AR Tier 11 we unlock the 5th unit slot for both offense and defense, which seems to cost 300 stones (each?). So unless you like being outnumbered, keeping some stones on hand for that seems a good idea. Wow that seems rough. The highest tier is 11000 lift, so that would be 120 aether per fight. I hope it caps out somewhere. Also the Aether Fountain has a level und a variable in it's description so seems intended to be upgradeable. That could also be the factor to let us keep up with the cost, wonder if and when that will happen. Oh right. I hope the Aether Raid quests won't be for that promotion only, but will be weekly and start monday or next season to provide us with some more stones and grails.

Well if you check the "Aether Raids Is Here" news on the notification board on the main screen under "Repel Your Rivals!" it says: "However, for each member of your opponent's raiding party that is defeated, the amount of Lift lost will be slightly reduced." But I can't remember that being mentioned anywhere in the Aether Raid tutorial itself. I guess we will find out once we are above 4000 points. To the mode itself. I really like it so far. Playing on the maps other people build instead of a random map is really nice. Getting to bring 5 Offense teams and choose after seeing the opponent is good to not get drawn against a complete counter. Watching replays and adjusting your defense map in accordance is really fun for the strategist in us. Only loosing points once every 20 hours is good so that as long as your offense performs and you earn more than you loose you will keep on climbing. So everyone should be able to reach the higher AR Tiers and that's where most of the grails come from. Personal rank is only for more grails and not aether stones meaning that the people at the top need to keep being the best to stay there and not through advantages from past wins. I haven't spent any ressourcs yet, because my defense can't lose points yet and my offense was able to beat everything with both ressource buildings destroyed and noone lost thanks to the stat boost. I still have to think about what to commit to and not backing myself into a corner with the wrong buildings and no stones left. I guess the bonus buildings for next season would be a safe bet but I'll see. May I ask about your opinions on how to spend the dew? There seem to be only three choices, the offense fortress, defense fortress and the ressource building. Offense seems to be important because if it makes you beat every defense team you can outscore even a defense that loses every match thanks to the 20 hour limit. But if you are confident that you can ace every match either way, the ressource building gives you more attacks per season and is a boost to score. I'm not sure about defense yet. I'm quite sure there are a lot of players, that will be able to beat every defense team nonetheless, so is trying to deny the first loss after 20 hours for some time more valuable than the other options?

Ouch. That must have been really bad for the people that like them but missed the ghb. Xander was actually the first unit I brought to 5* and I was so happy to be able to get him. But now the Feh Channel promised, that all our Xander dreams will come true.

After I read the descriptions, played the paralogue and everything you said about it's meaning, I'll say the banner became quite a bit more interesting as I would have thought. I might actually try to get some of the units, if they return on a more favorable banner (or might even get demoted). OK, then I might have misremembered it. If that is how you are and not how you became through bad experiences, then it's fine and I don't need to be sad about it anymore. I have no problem with that at all. Now I just hope, I didn't sound like I would rather have you force yourself to be optimistic, than just being yourself. That wasn't my intention at all. I see. After you said you hope my experience here is better than yours, I assumed you were also talking about this site. That's good. Seeing it wasn't all bad for you makes me happy. Yes this is definitely something that shouldn't happen. I started Fire Emblem back when Blazing Blade was released or just "Fire Emblem" as it was called here and Sacred Stones after, and it makes me still look back at these games fondly. I only had the handheld consoles, so no Tellius games for me, which means I only played Shadow Dragon, Awakening and Fates since then. That is quite few games for all these years, so part of it may be just me being happy to get another Fire Emblem, but yes I enjoyed these games. The games had their flaws, but I still had fun and like quite a few of the characters. That fun is something no one can take from me and nobody here should feel bad for enjoying these games. Yes, sadly these extreme cases are also so vocal about it, that it overshadows all the people in the middle, that have their own opinion but still respect other ones. I agree so much. I wasn't around at that time but I keep hearing about it. This event is something that should make people happy. Everyone gets to vote which character they like and then we get to have the characters, that the majority should be happy with. Even if the character I want didn't make it, I can just be content knowing there are a lot of happy people out there now. Nothing against the people who really wanted Veronica, but that some may actually vote for a character they don't even care about just to disappoint others is something I just can't comprehend, no matter how hard I try. In the end, we still got Camilla alts because the result showed the demand. And if we get another cyl and Camilla scores really high without winning again we will get even more because the demand would be still there. I don't think we need another Camilla, but if enough people do and she wins I'll accept that.

Ok, thank you. But that is quite interesting. Having startet over a year after release, I thought I would have missed a few copies of Xander, but I seem to have all of them. I never looked up the older reruns, but apparently there are only a few with high possible merges without grails.

Did the site make a mistake, or have I somehow completely missed 4 Dorcas being available?

Azura is so adorable. I am glad she is free, because otherwise I might have skipped her for now. I read this forum for some time before finally getting myself to create an account, and I remember you mentioning, you came here very optimistic, enjoying Fire Emblem, but this community turned you bitter and you even renounced your status as a Fire Emblem fan. I can't help but find that quite tragic. Thank you! But do you know what would make me even more happy? If you could get your positive outlook and hope back. In the end we are all here, because we enjoy Fire Emblem and can discuss and help each other, so the Fire Emblem experience gets better for everyone. I don't think, it is too late for you to have a good experience here. Are you sure? I can promise you, I certainly won't. Not with this character or any other. And maybe the community will pleasantly surprise you.

One side of me is gleaming with joy, that I'll finally be able to fully merge Xander and screams at me to not consider anything else. My arena side on the other hand, would really like a merged up Aversa for that tome, and I still have a Laegjarn around waiting to be foddered. I guess I'll have to wait and see how I perform in the new game mode and if there are additional sources of grails. I'll decide after I see how long a +10 would take.

I have to agree that it is likely nobody will be demoted. I also read what Ice Dragon said about that banner being a new Fallen Heroes banner. But I still think there is a chance Mikoto might actually demote, although I acknowledge, that it might be just wishful thinking at that point. I guess it is just really unfortunate that this banner comes in the wake of the Muspell banner that didn't demote and the Brave Redux one that most likely won't demote either. Thank you. I feel kind of bad for it, but I would actually like a legendary version of Xander. I like Xander and it is kind of sad, that he is the only fates royal sibling, that doesn't even have his base version in the permanent pool. The seasonal variants are cute and all, but I'd rather have less of them and a mergeable permanent one instead. I would also take it, if they make the ghb version somehow available. But now I hope the Feh Channel will bring us all something to be happy and excited about.

I am new here and my opinion probably won't count as much, but I have to second this. Alkaid staying calm and supporting his favorite character, despite all the shit thrown at her, is really commendable. I actually feared, that he will get bashed and insulted from all sides for this. Not only wasn't that the case, but he even got a positive reply. That was a pleasant surprise, thank you for that, Motendra. I'm really shy even in an internet forum, but seeing this positivity and that there are people that are genuinely happy with the banner, made me smile. In addition to eclipse, giving her best to keep everything civil here, which I greatly appreciate, I decided to finally create an account here, maybe only to get that off me. But as I'm here now, might as well give my opinion on that banner. None of the characters or skills are something I feel I need to absolutely have right now. This, coupled with the fact that I try to avoid 4 unit focus banners, makes it an easy skip. But that's fine, as I will have more orbs when something I want gets released or returns. I just hope something gets demoted this time, because we had so many banners without demotes lately. I am glad about the TT Azura though. Azura is one of my favorites and while I don't think we need another alt for her, I'll take it. Yet I do agree with the people saying it would have been a great opportunity for Arete and would even trade the new Azura for her. I am especially curious what they would do for her art, because I don't remember there being a lot of art for her. So I wish everyone that likes that banner the best of luck, may you all get what you hope for. For everyone else, I hope you get something soon, that you can use the orbs you save here on. And don't let that banner ruin your day, that's not worth it.
