  1. Question! Say you have hector with axe guard 5 skill ( If foe is equipped with an axe, unit takes 5 less damage during combat.) on someone. That character has a few backups surrounding it, and an enemy attacks with an axe. Does that subtract 5 damage from all the chain attacks, negating the chain attack damage??????
  2. General and Paladin can as well - to me it looks like whatever combination would become overpowered with a bonus rank - like they don't want bow knights with S in bows, or mage knights with S in tomes. Maybe?
  3. My OCD math loving brain is very upset about there being no rhyme or reason for which classes allow which bonuses so I made a grid. If anyone else cares... - Sword Lance Axe Bow Knife Art Tome Staff Archer B Avenir (Alfred) B A Axe Armor B Axe Cavalier B Axe Fighter B Axe Flier B Berserker S Bow Knight C*^ C*^ C*^ A Cupido (Fogado) B A Dancer A Divine Dragon (Alear) A B Dragon Child (Alear) B Fell Child (Veyle) B S General A*^ A*^ A*^ Great Knight B**^ B**^ B**^ Griffin Knight A*^ A*^ A*^ C^ Halberdier S Hero A C*^ C*^ High Priest C^ B^ S Lance Armor B Lance Cavalier B Lance Fighter B Lance Flier B Lindwurm (Ivy) S B Lord (Alcryst) B Lord (Diamant) B Mage B Mage Knight B*^ B*^ B*^ A Martial Master S A Martial Monk C B Noble (Alfred) B Noble (Céline) B B Paladin A*^ A*^ A*^ Picket (Timerra) S Royal Knight A C^ Sage S B^ Sentinel (Fogado) B Sentinel (Timerra) B Sleipnir Rider (Hortensia) B S Sniper S Successeur (Diamant) S A Sword Armor B Sword Cavalier B Sword Fighter B Sword Flier B Swordmaster S Thief S Tireur d’élite (Alcryst) S Vidame (Céline) B A B Warrior A C^ Wing Tamer (Hortensia) B B Wing Tamer (Ivy) B B Wolf Knight B*^ B*^ B*^ A^ Wyvern Knight B**^ B**^ B**^ * Choose 1 ** Choose 2 ^ Goes up one rank if the character has the innate bonus
  4. I am going to put this down for a bit, but so far I've figured out some things like hero can have lance improved but not sword. And warrior can have bow improved but not axe. And bow knights can't get the bow improved. And some classes can improve up to S, so that's not it.
  5. I am so confused. I got to Rosado and noticed she is a wyvern fighter, but her axe is A, not B - which is the normal max for the class. I notice her axe is blue, and if she changes to an advanced class with axe less than S, it goes up by one tier. So then I start looking at other characters, and they have different blue options, but not all of them will improve the weapon tier. For example, Alcryst has a blue bow symbol, but if I change him to bow knight, he gets no bow bonus tier. I also noticed Celine and Ivy don't get the blue tome bonus if they change. Is this just that bow and tome will never get the tier bonus or what am I not understanding? Then when looking at Alear, the sword bonus is there if I change to Paladin or General, but not if I change to Hero. I can't figure it out and all I find about proficiency is gaining them with emblems but no details if that actually impacts the weapon tier/rank. Help!
  6. Mountain: 2YHV53P My first try on this map and so its not a very good start - my bad...
  7. If they are just short of any bond level up, polishing a ring won't do anything. But if you go to arena, it should only cost 10 fragments to hit the new level (since you are so close) and then you can polish the ring for bond gain.
  8. I used the lovely raw data here and the base from redit user thealmonded to make this calculator. If anyone wants to use/steal/modify/whatever, please feel free - but again I used this raw data and the base from thealmonded so they might care. It lets you compare 3 characters, each with up to 3 classes. It shows the character's unique skill and the classes skills (gotta scroll over but at least it's there) and exclusive classes show the required character like the raw data shows here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mY0tHr-lnnUIMrx62vpqY-WnCm1YoTZgI6X2NN5lZqA/edit?usp=sharing It takes all data into account for calculations (class stats, Jean's double class growth, etc.). If you select a level lower than initial level - which you shouldn't - it just subtracts the growth. My only concern is when I was stripping class stats from character base stats, I did the math myself and might have made some errors. That stripped data is shown in the character sheet so if you see a problem please tell me!!!
