  1. Happy Birthday, sorry for being late!

  2. Sneak promotes to Shadow Wields Knifes (like FE10) and Dark Tomes Skills would be along to lines of Stillness, Shadow, Celerity, Vigiliance and Disarm Low STR and DEF Medium MAG, RES Above average SPED High SKILL
  3. Something you probably already thought of but don't forget you don't need to kill a counter user to render counter useless you only need to get him weak enough so that a single retaliation will kill him. Counter will not activate if the blow is lethal, just make sure to check for Pavise+. When I had a number of Great Knights(everyone went throught GK for Luna and DG+) I would frequently leave a counter unit at half hp if to target a Sage especially is they had Hawkeye and Luna+. I thought about having a number of bow users but the idea seemed very double edged. Each unit can only kill 1 enemy per turn (until Galeforce) so if you are constantly ending you turn with a bow in hand you wont be retaliating during the AIs turn meaning you are leaving more enemies alive to damage you on the next turn and so forth. While a lot of maps have enemies that wont rush until you reach a certain point, thus meaning you could wait out the reinforcements and than progress to the next bit, it may be more difficult on the crowded maps, you may be more vulenerable to been swarmed. Mark all the units with counter at the start then hit X and constantly position you units in the 'pink' danger zone so they can retaliate bow users on the edge to force ranged combat or melee on the inside when there are no enemy units the can hit from 2 spaces, stay clear of the 'red' zone until you can hope in and eliminate someone with counter(or weaken to a point where a retaliate will kill), if using a unit with a 1-2 range before you engage deselect him and see where the 'red' zone ends to make sure after you kill him another counter unit isn't in range. If he is either use another unit to deal with him position your unit to force range combat. Of course later on when you get Galeforce the counter problem is gone as you can hope in and out of the 'red' after a kill. Although I had planed on have mostly Assassins and Sorcerers in my team in didn't get that way until chapter 22 or so because I spent so much time reclassing through Great Knight, Paladin, Merc and Dark Flier gathering skills for everyone, although I steamrolled those final chapters :) Still I hope it works fine, good luck.
  4. Ive always passionately avoided Padilans, probably cos there so many always but in Awakening i make nearly all units go through it for Aegis, and in my opinion its and best unit for Chrom
  5. I breed all the characters for armsthift and galeforce Its the easiest way to deal with counter.... besides using a bow
  6. Hi everyone, first of all excuss my terribIe typing. I made this account a while ago but decided not to use it because i wanted to finsih Lunatic+classic before i read other peoples stratergies, i like to create my own and compare to others, So yesterday was my first time on the forums. Ive been playing Fire Emblem since its first release here in Australia (I was 12), discovered it by chance and have become obessed with perfecting playthroughs and training the underwhelming odd characters, FE10 Hether is my favourite character :) Played and finished 7,8,10,11,13 all on on the hardest difficulty in there respective games. Never had a chance to play Path of Raidence, it seems impossible to find a PAL copy and i was extremly dissapointed that 12 didnt get localised and was very excited when Awakening got greats reviews, although it made the 2 month wait even worse. I quite enojoy discussion about the game from cannon to tatics to characters, unfortunetly it seems like there isnt a huge following that i know of the only people i know with the game are 2 friends I convinced to buy it and they are still goinng with Normal Newcomer. So Hi everyone
  7. Bond-each unit should have there own recovery All the Faires arnt worth the space over Luna or All stas +2 sword, axe, lancebreakers are to specific to be of use, we dont have Iote Shield here so Bow could be of use and Tomebreaker could clean up poor resistance but i never use them with hawkeye around. The +2 skills Charm Solidarity Indoor Outdoor Patience Despoil Gamble Zeal Lethality Astra Relief(except on oliva) Tantivy Focus Vengeance- seriously just use Luna Healtouch-maybe on early Lissa Demoiselle Even and Odd Rhythm
  8. Early on before you get all your Galeforce users i would mark all the units with counter and before i kill one i would un-mark him marking sure there isnt any other counter uses around, you could un-mark archers since they could never initiate adjacent combat but ealy on i keep them tagged since your training alot of dark flyers to get galeforce you dont want anyone the range of archers especially with hawkeye around. This worked for all the early levels until chapter 14 as it was to small so i rushed the southern boat and piled into to small space and blocked the ramp with the unit with the most def and unequiped his weapon. Then used my fliers Cordellia and MU (called her Grima) to deal with all the Peg Knight reinforcements. As soon as your get access to the chapter 16 shop that sells Second Seals you're pretty much in the clear.
  9. So Fire Emblem has been out a bit over a month now in Aus and after a few delays i just completed Lunatic+, have to say besides a the first turn of chapter 2 it wasnt as much as a pain as i thought. Would like to know how others dealth with Lunatic+ Classic Counter became easy to deal with once my characters started learning Galeforce, mark all the counter skills at the start of the map and use galeforce to drop in and out of their range. I used a team of Sorcerers for using Nos/AN and later on Mire. Which all the physical characters been Assassins so they always doubled and had good skill activation rates, also if i was worried about reinforcements coming on the edge of the map just epic a bow, so i dont counter kill myself. Also i used a Female MU i just couldnt overlook having another unit with Armsthift & Galeforce. Married Chrom the give Lucina said combo. I read a few guides the said to choose Def as a asset and to reset bad level ups, but seriously didnt need. I choose Speed as a Asset and HP as a flaw. I could only imagine it would be a breaze with the DLC skills but the only availible skill here is All Skills+2 but i dont really see the use of it. Thoughts? and how did yose deal with Lunatic+ Classic? Forgot to mention, obviously i didnt let anyone die and completed all availible side missions. Up to the one where you recruit Walhart, the rest arnt availible yet. Keen to try TSON when is comes out.
