Here's the latest trailer of Tales of Berseria from last week. The entire group is introduced. Tales of Berseria will be released on 18th August in Japan for PS3, PS4 and PC. On 24th January it'll come out in North America and on 27th January 2017 in Europe! Since I own neither a PS4 nor a powerful PC I tend to order a JP-import for my PS3 when it's been released (if the price isn't too high). I'll update this thread whenever I have new information or trailers. Feel free to share your impressions or expectations about this game. Tales of Berseria, to be released in the West for the PlayStation 4 and PC Digital (via Steam) platforms, will officially be released on

Currently I'm playing the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia for the first time. Since my WLAN sucks or doesn't even work, I can't download the translation patch and so I have to deal with the JP language. It's not a bad deal, because I'm using a guide. However not all of my questions get answered. In some situation I still stuck or have questions about the characters or gameplay. So I need your help! I appreciate each little hint or answer from you :) Well, I'm not that experienced with the Tales of series yet. Only completed Abyss and played Symphonia, Xillia and Zestiria a bit yet. But Vesperia is definitive the hardest one for me so far. Actually my party has trouble to survive against each boss, even in generic battles. The reasons, why I have problems with this game: The A.I. of the enemies is pretty good. They're way more aggressive than in the other Tales of parts I've played yet. I can't hit enemies on the ground, even with down artes. Flying enemies are very problematic to hit. I'm stuck against a giganto bird atm, which I can't hit at all. Maybe someone can give my a few tips how to do the battles better (units and skills). I don't even know which characters are really good. Mainly use Yuri, Rita and units who can heal (Estelle, Patty or Raven). Yes, I'm playing the PS3 version, but without translation patch because I don't have internet in my room. I have a guide and watch a LP, so I don't have any questions about the story.

I've checked out Tales of Zestiria for PS3 a little bit. After only 2h play time I've some issues with this game: very empty dungeons: Large areas with only very few enemies. You can check out the stats of the enemies at any time. Furthermore the enemies have an health bar you can follow the entire time of the battle. Nice for beginners, but I don't like to get spoilered all the time. Magic lenses are removed. During the battles the camera is behind the main character (maybe you can change it; I haven't could figure it out yet). It becomes confusing and I lose track about all the enemies. It's just me, but I don't deal with this camera perspective. It might be too early to criticise the game and I don't want to daunt any people not to buy this game. But so far... it's my least favorite game of the Tales of franchise I've touched yet. It's just my personal opinion and my opinions and tastes are a bit weird anyway.

Hello, Hello My name is Teamaster Twekczar and I am the Tea guy over in the general forum making recommendations on tea each day or at least trying too. Did you know that I also stream video games? I stream it at http://www.twitch.tv/teamastertwekczar . Sometimes I even get other people on and stream with them. I tend to stream after 7 o'clock eastern time on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. At least for now we'll see how it goes cause college. Starting tonight I will be streaming the new Danganronpa game Ultra Despair Girls. I also plan one day to play through the other two. I also am currently in the middle of streaming Tales of Vesperia for the PS3, In English. Yes I patched the game and decided to stream it for all the world to see. On friday right now I'm streaming my attempts to beat Genealogy of the Holy War. I just started streaming it recently and wow I didn't expect it to be that hard. It involves me scream crying my eyes out and I'm only just beat the first part of the chapter! Well that's about it for what I stream and play. Stop on by and you'll be entertained! Hopefully... At the very least that is all I can ask.

So... another Tales of as it seems. This is already confirmed to be coming worldwide and is the 20th Anniversary title on the PS3. I guess it was time for a new game in Japan with the most recent being Tales of Xillia 2 that dropped, what, 2 years ago almost? There's no release date yet, at least none that I could fine, but if this comes late 2014, then NA will be seeing 3--technically 4--Tales titles next year, with the addition of Tales of Xillia 2 and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.
