I can't speak in general, but free time does get tighter later on. I can remember my time doing my bachelor's and it was certainly much less free time than, say, high school. Though admittedly, I got more free time as time went on.

Hm, I was like that too. I ended up taking up engineering, but actually went through a bit of changing the field midway. Had to basically start over, but it was... maybe probably worth it in the end. I mean, it net me about nine months of failing to get a job. But I could now apply for one I suppose.

I can certainly say mine got changed.

Or more like, I switched from what was admittedly partly what I was being suggested to do, to something that was more what I wanted to do.

It's okay. Don't feel too pressured on it, but it is best to at least have a general idea on what you want to do by the time you go to college.

Well, my own life experience hasn't been the best, so if I could help others not get caught in similar issues, I'm content.
