What if Tharja was a man?

I'd like Tharja all the same regardless of gender, but I think like a lot less fans would dislike Tharja if she was a male. I feel like people would make up a lame excuse like "oh he's just a bit loose or possessive" rather than "god he's a creepy stalker." And the reason for this, just like what user Dunban said, is that male characters like that are often seen positively. Tharja would probably be less sexualized as a male is what I think. But hey, I'm not the FE fandom, so whatever.

So yeah, I'd still feel okay about Tharja whether she was a male or female.

Honestly it'd be surprising in the context (of an FE game), but overall it's not really uncommon, baring the child abuse. Overall I think it'd be slightly more repugnant than current-Tharja, and that's mainly because of demographics.
