If you don't, you never learn Camilla fed both Cyrus and Avatar cookies when they're young. If you don't, you never learn Camilla and concubines and how difficult it was for the them siblings growing up. What I am saying is, if you don't attain all attainable A supports, then is the story you are playing "non-canon" and "incomplete"? I think it's more likely that it did happen, but it doesn't really affect the main story and is mostly there to help flesh out your characters when it would've been hard to do so in the main story itself. That said, one character on the Hoshido route has a story death if he doesn't get an A Support with your Avatar. He's safe on the other routes.
