I wouldn't really call the current arena scoring system 'bait,' to be honest. Mostly because a pure performance based Arena would be nightmarish to play---a good offense team piloted by a good player is unbeatable, period, but everything worse than perfect play would be punished hard because the top teams would be those teams that are best at punishing mistakes and leveraging unfairĀ arena maps to win.
