Sigurd/Deirdre Instant Crit

I have a friend who has has a lot of experience playing Genealogy. However, the most recent time she played the game she witnessed something she had never seen before. Sigurd and Deirdre were next to each other and a heart appeared, resulting in an instant crit. I haven't spent a lot of time playing fe4 so i didn't have too much to contribute to this anomaly, but both of us decided to do a little bit of research. We found nothing. Has anyone else experienced this sort of instant crit before?

When two lovers are close to each other, there's a chance the one attacking will blow a crit. This happens with siblings too.

That's neat. I thought that having lovers/siblings next to each other merely had the same effect as having the Critical skill. I wasn't aware that they give a boost to the critical rate as well. Do the effects from lovers and siblings stack?

I'm not sure. It does stack with a weapon critical bonus though.

Yeah, its when siblings or lovers are close to each other. Its pretty cool, and it got passed on to the later games.
