Although it does still point to them being in the same universe, probably different planets connected by the Outrealm gate. Chrom clearly knows of Ashera, similar to the myths of Hoshido and Nohr, so they do have to occur within the same universe at some point. In that case, then every other FE continent are simply in other planets, since Chrom also knows of them through legend. In that case, everything happens in one single universe. THen again, the word "world" always carries a different context depending on what the person using it knows. For all we know then the Gates are simply an interplanetary transport network, some time portals (the legacy maps), and the only truly otherwordly places are stuff like the Deeprealms. Yeah, I think at this point I should stop thinking about this, it's gotten extreme convoluted, extremely fast.
sirmola
Honestly, FEH is borrowing HEAVILY from norse mythology. THis video shows just how heavily (the video is not FEH related at all, the borrowing is so heavy that it shows in a general interest video):
Garlyle
Interesting fact about Outrealms that we fight in them in the Grand Conquest. These realms have no names, only numbers. And by the looks of it, there lots of them.
