I think we should just all cast our votes now. All of us basically have our suspicions in order Sky>Wen>SB/me I do not feel we are getting any farther. We also hopefully have a rolecop to investigate who we think is the most suspicious such as Refa or SB or Breezy.

What is an IO?

At this point, I'm just purely going off of what I'm seeing posted in-game. I teeeeeeeeechnically have little to no clue about the Persona series, let alone P3, so flavors kinda don't do anything for me. Herpaderp. >_>;;

Whatever the case, WRT Refa: Doesn't really change my stance on him much. Still warrants some suspect/watch, but otherwise not the highest priority atm.

@Junko: Informed Observer, I believe?

Confirming that IO means Informed Observer. I feel like I'm sheeping most of your opinions on Refa, though.

So as to move this away from rolespec: what do we think of Sky_Paladin? As a note, he was on the list of people who were around when votals were messing up, if that hasn't been brought up. I can't recall.

SB

Kopfjager

Green Poet

Sky Paladin

Frosty Fire Mage

Junko Enoshima

While I agree that we have some fairly concrete suspicions, Town lives and breathes on discussion. Day 1 is probably the only day that overtalking would be a thing, but even so, I don't believe we've come anywhere near that point. Several folks, including Shinori and Wen, I'd much like to see a few more pages' talk out of, and better sooner than later, eh?

Okay so I think I'm caught up
god I hate this craptop I cannot wait until my real one returns (which should be later today)

There'll be two more short posts from me incoming (hopefully), and then I'll have to leave because people will get pissed if I don't do things they asked me to.

Okay... I sleep and was greeted by 10 pages of posts when I wake up... This will take me a while to read through. >_<

also...

WHAT. THE. FUCK!?

Well, granted, seeing his flip I don't exactly MIND Frosty dying, but...

Dayvig I guess?

A lot of things happened, Wen. What are your thoughts on who seems scummy at the moment?

True. Shinori seems to be logical so far. I do want Kopflajer to come back though. Better warn him about flavour speccing. Although I hope poly kind of lets kop try to figure out SB's flavour because it will let us see kopflajers behaviour. But I say we should not suspect him as much due to the time constraint so he could not reald many posts. FFM's death might change his mind.

@Terrador:

*Shrugs* So long as you're actively looking at Refa yourself and/or catching things on your own time/thoughts, sheeping someone else's thoughts/opinions (and openly saying so) isn't necessarily bad, imo.

And it depends- for one, I don't think the one who necessarily did the vote shuffling had to be currently active in the thread; could've been a lurker. Though it did seem extremely easy for Sky especially when the votes started moving onto SB due to the shuffle. So I'm wondering if it's someone who may have supported his PoV/case on SB (and thus enabled for an easier wagon/potential hammer), or if it was put forth to make Sky look worse. However, his (Sky's) posts looked pretty bad on their own, so he's by no means cleared of the voting thing due to convenience.

-- And cut: was ninja'd by a few posts.

- Day phases going on longer can help us scum hunt and overall do more, but Junko does have a fair point as well. If we don't actually use the time (and just let it tick by without putting it to any use), it would ultimately be simpler/easier on the host to just hammer whoever the consensus agrees is the scummiest and be done with it.

POST THE FIRST
General/responses/random post:

Ssssshhhh GP, P3 spoilers ;)

Kopf was only mistaken for Proto after he made this post. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

[spoiler=those votals, man]

VOTALS THE FIRST: HACKED-IN EDITION

doop doop doop y'all gettin' mixed up here

SB (5) - Junku Enoshima, BigPlaysMeteor, Bluedoom, Frosty Fire Mage, Kofjager
Breezy (5) - Mitsuki, Green Poet, Terrador, Refa, Eurykins

Shinori (2) - Sky_Paladin, Euklyd
Voteless Nerds - SB, Terrador, Breezy

With 15 alive, it takes 8 to hammer, 5 to deadline lynch.
There are roughly 61.75 hours until phase end at 12:15 AM MST on April 6th.

what the fuck.
##unvote

[spoiler=re:testing votes or something?]

Why are you guys posting so much?
I'd rather see fewer, longer posts. It's hard to follow the game like this.

##Unvote
##Vote: Coco let's see if this works.

Ugh, alright, let's keep testing.

##Unvote
##Vote: Breezy

Poly, would you be alright with posting frequently updated votals so that we can try this?

Careful not to overvote Breezy. We don't want to end the day TOO early after all, and I think he's at L-2.

in the meantime, ##Vote: Frosty

What were we testing here?

Euklyd, why did you say Coco would be hard to read if he's new and you haven't played with him before?

Pretty sure I already addressed this. I've hung out with Pokemon (Coco/Junko/etc to you guys, I guess) for months and chat with him a lot and I have a hard time reading intent into anything he says.

Shinori was typing a post, but... now he isn't? Is that a quirk of the forum, or did he have to go, or did he decide to not post after all?

Quirk of the forum. If you spend too long (~15 min) without navigating to a new page it shows you as inactive/offline.

Nah--I just do ISOs on everyone through the whole thread, then slack off for the rest of the game. If anything, it was a "great minds think alike" compliment, minus the implication that there's a great mind on this side of the screen :#

...should we compile a list of players whose online times are private, do you think? Could be helpful in adding candidates to the list.

As far as day phases go--I'm happy with my vote on Sky_Paladin, and I feel no need to hammer. I'll continue to talk to folks, try to get better reads on people I'm unsure of. I think we could do with a bit more talking, and I'd encourage those of you who are confident that Sky is our top lynch priority to put a vote down now; it won't result in a hammer anytime soon.

Euk: Already answered my own question, u-ho!

Ahahaha. xD I gotcha.

Uhhh... Idk. When it comes to activity/inactivity, it generally shows itself (the pattern of when people are/aren't online) from D1 to D2, imo, and the others will generally say if/when there's any exceptions/reasons why they're gone. Anything excessive in terms of inactivity either gets them subbed out (as stated in the rules), or could possibly tag them for lurking (if they're obviously online but choosing not to post, especially if they're getting asked questions or having cases being put forth against them). I mean, we could compile a list of times, but I'm not sure how effective/helpful it'd actually be in the whole scum-hunting shinanegans.

No one should feel the need to hammer until day phases occur in which you need to hammer in order to secure/having a lynch go through (in that case, it's understandable/logical to some extent). That's why I generally find people oddly scummy if/when they quick-hammer someone at L-1, especially if it's to save their own hide (if they had a wagon on themselves).

Terrador: I don't think the fabricator/persuader/whatever you call it will claim because it is a pretty powerful role if it's the same setup as the one in that game SB linked. We have a town mayor, so this role could potentially put someone at L-2 and insta-hammer with the mayor's cooperation.

If he's town, he'll best stay quiet or just try to contact the mayor somehow to keep maf from zeroing on him.

If he's maf, well... No need to say why he would stay quiet no?

still reading through the slog, will post more once I'm done.

I thought we had a confirmed double-voter of sorts floating around? (Teeeeeeempted to say Mitsuki, but I'd need to re-read to find the post. So don't quote me on that answer.)

POST THE SECOND

Reads:

Eury is wallposting thoughts on everyone. Standard Eury, I guess? Effort seems town, but I've seen her /effort as scum in exactly the same way before as well, so :shrug:.
leaning slightly town, I guess?

Kopf is null leaning slightly scum just based on his behavior ED1 wrt the ITP stuff and the sort of pushing-at-a-distance vibes I was getting. There might've been something else, I think, but I can't remember.

I'm not suspicious of SB; his claim and reasons for not fullclaiming seem fine, and his /effort seems legit.

Townreading Refa because rolespec and vibes and content levels. lay off my scumbuddy, or I'll pull out a chainsaw

Terrador's /effortvibes seem generally townish, even if I don't necessarily agree with him re:Refa, I suppose.

Sky is scummiest imo. Tunneling is a nulltell, but ITP-tunneling and ITP-hunting is Bad. We as town care about scum, not ITPs.

##FoS: Sky Paladin

would vote him if I knew how far we were from a hammer. One thing that makes me a tiny bit cautious is that there is basically zero pushback here, although there's also the whole why-and-how-would-you-defend-such-obviously-scummy-behavior piece.

And I can't remember anything about anyone else, nor do I have time to reread everyone.

Whoever shot FFM shouldn't claim at this point unless they are in danger or we need to PoE, even if they are out of shots. No point in telling scum who the Confirmed Town are, right?

I highly doubt that the persuader is town. Just trying to hunt scum generally, I am!

Don't be silly Euklyd.

There are probably no vanillagers in this game of werewolf.

Do you have actual reasons to believe this to be true, or is it baseless setupspec?
I would have guessed the opposite; I don't think this is advertised as role madness?

Ohhh, that would make sense. I thought mayor was the role that influenced votals. And yeah, it was Mitsuki who claimed doublevoter.

We have a town mayor, so this role could potentially put someone at L-2 and insta-hammer with the mayor's cooperation.

Assuming that the process wasn't random, five seemed like the maximum number of votes that the influencer (just going to refer to them as this, I guess) could place on any one person, as he did with SB and Breezy. So if their maximum vote influence is actually L-2, then using that role in conjunction with Mistuki's would be an extremely powerful combination, which most likely indicates that the influencer is actually the alignment opposite of Mitsuki's so that there isn't a huge imbalance in town's democracy/power.

Just setup speculation, I would think. I think Charlie's asleep by now...?

Riddle me this, though: if scum had this L-2 role, and 3 people total, couldn't they use the ability, pile on the three votes, and autowin every Day? I don't think we have any real idea what's going on with the specifics.
