Starsphere was also placed on Minerva. Really this chapter is A LOT easier than Chapter 14. While the Speed requirements certainly have gone up, you can ease a bit better into Swordmaster class and the like. Facing human enemies once again is a little odd and you might struggle ORKOing without effective weapons on some enemies (like Snipers, which are tough to kill) but you'll likely live through it. As noted in the video there are two alternatives to the map. On the left side you are able to obtain a Silver Sword, Silver Axe, and one of the Dracoshield or Energy Drop. The right side yields Marth crazy CEXP. He only loses gaining EXP on Turn 1. While the video doesn't completely show this, he is able to kill the Bishop safely and still reach the throne on time. The only thing I would've fixed was had Luke continue moving down, Palla intercept the Sniper on the Enemy Phase, and have Minerva kill the Killer Lance General while My Unit hits straight for the boss. This is merely for reliability more than anything. Everything else, barring that and the Sirius crit, went according to plan. Colonel M
Chapter 16 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7QACH6TpD8 Turns - 6/172 Gold - Merge 2 and 22 use Lady Sword. Reclass Minerva - Swordmaster Rainbow Potion on Palla, Minerva. Energy Bond on My Unit. Arena Sirius for 1250 and Catria for 1450. Another simple chapter. The chapter can be completed in a quicker fashion if you have a Thief Staff use remaining. Considering that Chapter 10's Bullion and Chapter 14's Again Staff is probably the only worthwhile items to steal, this should be a piece of cake. The bad news is you miss out on the Bullion (L) and the Speedwings, so consider the option carefully. My Unit with the Energy Bond has max Str. With it, he can ORKO the Heroes with Steel Axe. Sword Killer makes its first use here by killing a Hero on Turn 2. If you're 6 Turning this map and want the Bullion (L), Speedwings, and Rescue staff safely, simply follow the movements I did with Julian. Also make sure you have a unit go after the north Thief on Turn 1 to draw the Sniper close to your units. After that, the only other "hard part" is the Throne Room. It looks intimidating; especially when you consider there's two Warriors in here with Killer Weapons and about 44 Atk. Add reinforcements on top of that, and you got yourself on a time clock. That and well I suck at karaoke. Well okay I don't really suck at karaoke but I suck at singing chick flicks. I decided to be a dumb bum and sing a song. People voted "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry. Good lord. I forgot this is the same chick that sang "California Girlz" too... urk. Anyway, the chapter is simple. 27 AS (30 for the Swordmater), 35-36 Atk. Pretty much all you need. You'll need some high Mov units to double too. You also have the Geosphere, so you can rock a little bit on critical hits if necessary. Talk to Katarina 3 times and you're all set. Colonel M
Work has been ramming me and Spring Break means siblings are at home. I'll try to find ways to do recording during the week, but it'll be difficult. I do have the videos; just not the commentary. If you want to know how I did in each Chapter... [spoiler=Just in case no one wants to be spoiled]Chapter 17 involves killing all those Dracoknights quickly then charging straight toward the throne. Having a Horseman with 23 Spd helps with the Rainbow Potion + Starsphere. Doubling these fuckers makes life a lot easier. Marth was able to get the Seraph Robe, but I wonder if it would be better to have him participate to kill the Warriors for extra CEXP. This chapter cost me a Rescue and Again Staff use. 6 Turns. Chapter 18 is pretty simple. There's only a few slumps with it but that's about it. I couldn't mash the two Turn without forging a ridiculous amount of Mt onto the Ridersbane (...ew), and since Minerva is the only one that can use Poleax it doesn't help much. This chapter cost me a Rescue use. 3 Turns. Chapter 19. Oh God. This chapter is hell on earth. Doing this chapter efficiently took a shitload of thinking ahead and trial and error. Let's say this: My Unit had to be 4HKOed. He survives in this map by inches. He almost can't fall off the ladder with his Def growth or you're in a shitload of trouble. The biggest issue is you have to stop the reinforcements after Vyland appears or you get shitstomped by a pack of DracoKnights in 3 corners and, with the mountains and enemies, cover the entire map. Not to mention more enemies spawn near Whoo. Saving Roshea's village is bullshit too. The first Thief puts you in range of two Warriors. If the Warrior is pulled back, it still screws you: two more Warriors just came out to get you with a Tomahawk and KILLER AXE. What's worse? NO. CHECKPOINT. It took Turn 8 just to get to one. The second is nigh useless almost. This chapter finally took me 12 Turns. I probably could shave it with a well-timed Rescue use, but it wouldn't have affected it by that much and, judging by how this map went, I'm almost afraid to use any more Rescue yet. 12 Turns. 2 Rescue uses and an Again Staff use were used. After playing Chapter 19, I got curious. I almost wondered what would happen if the player was forced no Rainbow Potion nor the Lunatic stat boosters but had to play Lunatic somehow. Of course it's possible, but you can't go a whole lot slower on some maps. I guess experience priority would go a bit differently and what not. No Minerva for sure. Sirius would be lucky to play in Sniper / Horseman. Which sucks because Sirius has been a cool Horseman. :( I have a Seraph Robe and Dracoshield. Both Spirit Dusts look good on Malliesia. Colonel M
Yeah, I wonder... Yeah, it'd be pretty close to your playthrough with reclass limits removed and what not. First playthrough probably shouldn't be assumed, if ever, for efficient play. Especially without the Rainbow Potion since a person lags without it (whereas non-Lunatic beaten gives Rainbow Potion perhaps and Lunatic beaten gives stat boosters). Pity that Hard 2 didn't unlock the boosters, but maybe it's just to make the player go through the challenge in H3. I've been toying around with Chapter 20. The Heroes / Sniper thing is pretty annoying since My Unit is pretty much 3HKOed, so I have to divert both Heroes away from My Unit as well as the Swarm Bishop. Which means I need Xane where the Silver Sword Hero can reach and Palla / Minerva w/Sword Killer to intercept the Silver Axe Hero (or is it the other way around? Dunno...). grandjackal
Concerning chapter 19: You realize you could have killed the boss on turn 1 so you would never have to deal with reinforcements, right? 2 Rescue uses, but you did that anyways. Concerning chapter 20: I don't really recall how I did it, but basically you just wanna bumrush Hardin. It's far simpler than just trying to manface the whole map. There's some things to be scared about, though. You know... 45 Atk Warriors, 6 DracoKnights, Snipers that can peak at 25 AS. All that good stuff. Those Snipers remind me of Shining Force II's enemy Bowmen. Ridiculous. You can attempt to just go through an extra turn in this chapter if you want to save the Again Staff. It's been a little while (a week) since I've played the chapter. 2 Turn likely requires some critical manipulation or a huge forge onto the Poleax / Ridersbane. Anyway, 3 Turn just requires a small shuffling with the Starpshere on Turn 2. Base Astoria was used for the purpose of finding a DracoKnight that could survive the Ballisticians. One of them needs 32 Atk. Also, base Jeorge with Parthia OHKOes DracoKnights. Pretty useful. Colonel M
Damn it now I have some silly goddess. If you're wondering about the lack of updates, I've been busy. I think I got Chapter 21 down, but I'm placing leery doubt on 9 Turns. The biggest issue? Michalis's "Garden Gnomes" as Rody calls them. The Killer Axe guy is pretty bad enough. Then you have one with a Tomahawk and one with a Poleax (which is fine, but it still amounts to major headache). Not to mention the 28 AS Swordmaster. And the Thoron Sorcerer. Just disgusting how they spam the Killer crap in this game sometimes. The Meteor Sorcerers don't help much either with the Flying Dragons meshed in nicely. I've been busy-ish (not so much due to lack of motivation), but if anyone has some advice for that certain area, I would appreciate it. I considered having Chainey take what I was originally doing with Catria, which would help. Pity that DracoKnights get doubled by Flying Dragons and Swordmasters. It would've helped that their Spd would've been at the most 26 just for this map alone since flying is so important.

Malliesia gets her Spirit Dusts and Arms Scroll. There are a few tight spots in this chapter, but if My Unit can survive the onslaught in Chapter 19, he should be okay here in Chapter 20. The problem is Turn 2 requires some distracting. Having a unit that's 2HKOed by Swarm (26 Atk) and the Longbow Sniper is necessary, sadly. If I forged just one more Mt on that Hand Axe, My Unit with max Str, A Axes, Starsphere, and Lightsphere can 2HKO Hardin with Hand Axe + Hauteclere crit. Which means Chainey + MU can do Hardin in. The chapter is really rough within the beginning, but after Turn 3 it's pretty lenient. At the very least the Swarm Bishop that Catria killed should be taken out in one round. I got punched today with doing other things and I haven't had time to do the commentary since I don't live by myself (sadly). The weekend is never a good place to do these. Gave Seraph Robe to Catria. There's a lot to cram in this chapter. First off, Catria needs to survive 2 Flying Dragon attacks. Or any FalcoKnight for that matter. She should be able to do this with the Seraph Robe, and she's close if she hits ~15/11. So we notice that enemies have insane Spd stats. 28 for Swordmasters and Flying Dragons, Berserkers with 26, and Sorcerers with 24. That leaves a little breathing space for Berserkers and Snipers to double Sorcerers and Swordmasters to tend to Berserkers. As far as being doubled, DracoKnight looks very bad on paper with the enemy's Spd stats. Don't be fooled though, they're still very useful to have on the map with the terrain. In order to recruit Michalis, Minerva MUST reach the village before Marth. If Marth visits the village before Minerva, Michalis will not be recruited. As for getting Minerva there, it shouldn't be too hard. The biggest problem is having her survive the Meteor Sorcerer. She'll need to use a Pure Water before visiting the village. This is a solid chapter for Marth to gain whatever EXP he has to gain. With the Starsphere on him, you might as well attempt to make as much use of it as possible. While I didn't forge it in this chapter, forging the Brave Bow is probably a good idea. ORKOing Sorcerers is pretty good to have in this map on down. I forged a +3 Mt | +5 Hit Wyrmslayer instead. Don't forget the secret shop by the way. Also don't forget to sell your useless Hammers / Wing Spears / etc. Marth (25.17) - 41 HP | 23 Str | 0 Mag | 25 Skl | 25 Spd | 24 Luck | 17 Def | 0 Res My Unit (20.--) - 60 HP | 30 Str | 2 Mag | 24 Skl | 28 Spd | 21 Luck | 16 Def | 1 Res Feena (16.12) Sirius (18.19) - 42 HP | 24 Str | 1 Mag | 24 Skl | 27 Spd | 14 Luck | 13 Def | 4 Res Malliesia (12.86) - 34 HP | 3 Str | 29 Mag | 8 Skl | 24 Spd | 24 Luck | 7 Def | 13 Res Catria (15.97) - 51 HP | 22 Str | 3 Mag | 26 Skl | 26 Spd | 15 Luck | 20 Def | 11 Res Shiida (13.21) - 50 HP | 16 Str | 1 Mag | 29 Skl | 30 Spd | 26 Luck | 15 Def | 3 Res Palla (13.39) - 43 HP | 25 Str | 1 Mag | 23 Skl | 23 Spd | 11 Luck | 19 Def | 3 Res Minerva (16.30) - 48 HP | 23 Str | 1 Mag | 19 Skl | 23 Spd | 19 Luck | 18 Def | 3 Res Etzel (14.36) - 35 HP | 3 Str | 16 Mag | 17 Skl | 17 Spd | 11 Luck | 14 Def | 14 Res Katarina (9.32) - 35 HP | 3 Str | 13 Mag | 15 Skl | 17 Spd | 8 Luck | 9 Def | 8 Res Ymir - (lo.ol)
Colonel M
Chapter 22 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMEJFxSWJeA Turns - 5/216 Reclassed Minerva into a Swordmaster, Palla into a DracoKnight. Rainbow Potion on a lot of people. Capped Str / Spd Horseman and Swordmaster is a good idea to have in this chapter. The capped Swordmaster would love to have A Swords, but it's not completely necessary. The chapter is easy to describe: rush forward, kill stuff, survive, rinse and repeat. Horseman allows only one Again Staff and Rescue use instead of two Again Staff uses presented in other playthroughs. Don't diss on Palla and Catria. Catria especially still holds a lot of use, and you can't shrug off having Palla nearly guaranteed to ORKO Sorcerers with Brave weapons. Brave Bow was forged too. +3 Mt IIRC.
