paladin21
The conversations with Morva were different because in Ephraim's route, it was Lyon talking with Morva, whereas in Eirika's route, it was Fomortiis talking with Morva. That's my point. In Eirika's route, Fomortiis is controlling Lyon, while in Ephraim's route, Lyon is (to an unclear extent) controlling Fomortiis, so it only makes sense that any conversation involving either one could be different; that's how the distinction is shown. But it's like playing two different stories, not two points of view. It should be clear who is controlling who. From chapter 16 onwards, you seem to be running the two different futures Lyon foresaw, but it isn't clear which one is the right one. A third playthrough should make a definitive ending (maybe with Lyon surviving for the final battle, like Lehran in RD), and leave that as the canon story. Mental Note for a Hack: Lyon joins for final fight.

Roxas
That's the point. It is two different stories; there isn't one right one. Exactly. From the end of Chapter 8, there are two different timelines going on: One involves Eirika and the gang paralleled by Ephraim accompanied by a bunch of Frelian soldiers. The other involves Ephraim and the gang paralleled by Eirika accompanied by a bunch of Frelian soldiers. Eirika meets the recruitables (Innes, Dozla, Cormag, etc.) in her story and is reunited with Ephraim, accompanied by Duessel and Knoll in Chapter 15. Likewise, Ephraim meets the recruitables in his story and is reunited with Eirika, accompanied by Saleh and Innes, in Chapter 15. From there, the game only follows the "main" lord you chose at the end of Chapter 8, but it still establishes the fact that there are TWO stories going on. For example, you can't have two Marisa's coexisting in the same time period. No; one is recruited by Gerik in Carcino, while the other is recruited by Ewan in Taizel. Ϲharlie
...what's this for now? I'm VERY confused. This originally started as a side-conversation in the "mechanics you want" thread in the the new Fire Emblem board. It might be a good idea to take a look in there if you're confused.
