SentryDown
I'm getting the error "There was an error processing one or more file streams" whenever I try to open a modified rom in FEditor Adv. This occurs whenever I try to open the rom after modifying item data in Nightmare, specfically, after I edit data for the Emblem Sword. I have also tried editing Regal Blade and still produce the same error. I did not have any issues until after editing the item data. Any clues on to why this is happening? Is it still saving? Close the ROMs in each of the programs. Possibility #2: (Messy Answer) You edited something in the ROM that either shifted it, or moved some sort of recognizable data by FEditor. And it's confusing it. You have to scrap it.

You have to scrap it. 1) Confirmed that any program using the ROM was closed. Had errors. 2) I assumed this was what happened. However, I loaded up a backup with nightmare, this time checking the box labled "Big endian" and made the changes from earlier and it seems to work now. I'm not sure why though. Aleph
GBA arch is little endian so that makes no sense
SentryDown
You're right, it does make no sense, and it actually caused me more problems, making me lose about a days worth of work. I've found another solution, which may or may not help anyone in the future having this problem. 1) Open ROM in a hex editor 2) Go to the last 4 bytes and delete them. Save. 3) Open in FEditor Edited June 18, 2014 by SentryDown
Aleph
You couldn't figure that out by reading the doc? The best thing to do is probably fix the checksum yourself if you know the changes you made are valid.
