I'm not redoing this shit so here's the save and the link to the screenshot folder, no commentary this time. The problem looks to be like you've made an imgur album, which does some stupid shit. You should just upload the images and leave it at that, using the URL of each image separately. --- Kaede don't forget you have chapter 14 and 15 to do since this snakes. [spoiler=Chapter 16] Time for a surprisingly easy chapter. Here's the Team. Will baits the pegs and Sain the Mercs. Last Turns formation, Florina gave her Javelin to Oswin and took a hit from a Merc while Lowen tanked everything else. Lyn gets a perfect level while Will almost died after two Attacks. Meanwhile Sain proves his invincibility and Kent gets the kill in order to minimize the damage. The main team cleans up while Rebecca gets a shitty level. I gave Marcus the Iron Blade since it slows him down just enough to give the kill to another unit. Will goes shopping, Florina robs the Villagers, Rebecca baits the Mage and Hector fails to kill a Bandit. Kents biggest contribution this chapter Relocating the front towards the north while a Bandit disrupts Wills shopping trip. And this is why I hate Eliwood Murder, Levels and a near death experience for Lowen With an alost cleared map I start advancing towards Bauker. Still better than Eliwood. Meanwhile Serra barely escapes a from a cavalier. So much better than Eliwood. Those Cavaliers were a massive pain and in hindsight I realized that it was a bad Idea to leave Florina with Merlinus. I have no Idea why I used Kent but he weakened Bauker during the enemy phase. Screw those I need to finish this chapter ASAP Kent got out of the was, Eliwood critted once before being saved by... someone, Lyn finished him and I'm done. I also tried too hard to train the weaker units and ended up putting them in horrible situations every time. That's what I'm sayin'! i saw lyn get her seventh level about 15 times. I put my units in this exact same situation about 15 times and she ended up with 5 hp here instead of the usual 12. What? Also a slight memo for your personal future attempts of this chapter: You can leave Oswin alone on the bottom-left of the map; that fucker can solo the whole Cavalier squad that shows up with his defenses while Marcus is off actually being useful. Recording the gameplay as we speak. Edit: it might take a while longer to get up than I'd hoped. Apparently resetting during the Mine Glitch was not recorded, screwing up everything past the 2nd turn. How the VBA recorder works is that it creates "savestate A" when you start recording, then records all of your game-related inputs until you stop recording, AKA "savestate B". Commands like Reset and Pause are not logged. So, what I'm going to do is start over, and take screenshots as I'm playing until I reset for the mine glitch. After that I'll do it my usual way. Raven Posted September 16, 2015 Author Share Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) Why would you use the mine glitch on port of badon? it's so easy compared to what we could be using it on later. My strat for this chapter's a real turn-eater, but it's basically free exp for raven and whoever else gets used: Send Oswin around the back/top, along with Raven and a couple of ranged units, and maybe one healer. Have Oswin stand directly behind the village, so either the archer or the magic unit/s run into the village and attack oswin. If it's the archer, just have Oswin stand there until all the killer bows are used up. Then let a ranged unit get into Oswin's position and kill the archer. Or give a Javelin to Oswin so he can take the kill for himself, whatever. Anyway when attacked by the magic unit after the archer is killed (he will also run into the village to attack units behind it) someone like Lucius or Canas should be able to take them down. Then, you place Raven on the Wood area to the right of the shop. The pirates who have Raven in range will come at him one by one, and this will not trigger the event that sends all enemies moving at once. Killer Axe pirate will be tricky if he has a decent hitrate on you, but otherwise they'll all fall quickly to Raven. By the time you move past the shop to trigger the event that has all of Fargus' troops charging at you, most of them will be dead, aside from one pirate, but with which weapon I can't remember. While this is happening, you can place Hector down in the bottom-right in the choke point between the bottom village and the village above it with the open gate. Standing just outside of the choke point so Hector's left and bottom are exposed should trigger that Black Fang Paladin and his team's event to come at you. I just used it to take care of Damian, his goons, to make sure I don't kill Dart and to disarm the dangerous pirares in the middle so I could get all the items in the chapter. Also the arena in HHM is risky business, no matter who you put in there. If you're not using save states, best stay the hell away form it.
