Quite a bit of the chapter is missing thanks to some sort of recording error - something to do with savestates and whatnot. But I managed to salvage the data and upload images of the first few turns and the last turn or so where actual things happen.

The chapter begins, and the two juggernauts thunder down the deck, crew eagerly following.

And yeah, that's right. No fucking Marcus. Only chumps who want to play things easymode rely on Marcus.

This guy scratches the paint off OsWin's armour as he struggles to stand after eating lance.

Mercenaries are surprisingly competent in HHM.

I always position my units in such a way that they will survive the enemy turn even if everything that could possibly attack and hit them, did so. So it's always useful when something misses.

This tactic is called "turtling," or alternatively, "grow some balls you fucking pussy."

I am good at "turtling."

Rebecca retaliates with a crit on her second attack.

Completely unnecessary, but always welcome.

This hit, and it fucking hurt. Magic units and Pegasi are top priority targets right now.

Oswin stabs a Mercenary into the next FE universe.

This weapon may actually have been decent against OsWin if a Merc was using it, and not some shitty little myrmidon.

Enemy phase continues, and OsWin wants to return that 3 HP damage, plus interest.

Lancereavers, though. It's just an axe shaped like a sword. Completely makes sense, right?

Priscilla couldn't wait until after the chapter ended, so had some alone time in the corner. With Lucius, Raven, Rebecca and Matthew watching.

This is by no means a request for some... talented artist to create such a piece, but it would be great if such a thing existed, wouldn't it?

This is where my recording hit the shitfan, as mentioned at the start of the post. Just a quick summary of things that happened between the last picture and the next:

Everyone fucked.

But really, I pushed the units out once more, and killed things along the way. Nothing interesting happened, aside from a couple of level-ups.

Priscilla, Canas and Matthew went off on a rescue mission to save the Guiding Ring from the boss' evil clutch. Priscilla was placed 2 spaces above Canas, which explains her low health, and the position of the enemies.

Gotta trade with Matthew to make space for him to steal the ring, and heal him up so he doesn't die to one hit from the boss.

Canas takes out the guy that posed a threat to hector.

And there it is. Now I just sit and hope the boss' 20% Luna crit doesn't activate on matthew.

The final enemy phase rages around. Humans evolve, and osWin sends more enemies into the next FE installment.

So I got half way through chapter 18 before realising I needed to field Florina to recruit Fiora. I had some shit-hot level-ups, too.

OH FUCKING WELL LET'S GO AGAIN, this time without Canas, to make space for Florina. If there's one thing I've noticed, it's that Lucius needs more levels while Canas is sitting much higher already, so I think it's warranted.

I was playing through the chapter and taking screenshots as I went along. Didn't realise my laptop's charger wasn't plugged in, and my laptop died as I was playing.

So I loaded it back up and resumed where I left off. Little did I know that the screenshot numbers "reset" when I fired up the emulator again, so they overrode the originals. Luckily some of the old ones survived because I didn't take so many screenshots after the reset, but still.

ANYWAY, let's finally continue.

I missed the little sparkle at the tip of the blade, but everyone knows what this means.

Eliwood one-hit kills his opponent. Maybe he will be of some use.

if memory serves correctly, a bunch of pirates or pegs spawn from the top-right, so I'll keep Marcus around, just in case.

The pirate goes for Matthew instead of Rebecca and gets involved in a world of pain.

I'd imagine he's pretty pissed after losing his fuck friend.

A non-magic/boss unit has never dealt so much damage to Oswin with a single blow before.

But it's still not enough.

The best death you could ever get on the battlefield. A flash of Lyn's thighs as your own body fades to nothing.

Worth.

A second peg appears from the fog. Unexpected, so I'm glad Lyn's on a woods tile. She receives the same fate as the first.

Improved accuracy and survivability for Marcus.

Still should get benched when the other units become more competent.

Next turn, and Hector continues to lead the charge towards the boss. He's on fire.

...I'm just glad your speed and magic are already decent, but you still need working on.

Eliwood retreats to the woods from this potentially deadly situation.

In such situations, I think that if the first attack were to miss but the second were to hit, the first should hit and both RNGs should be used up, instead of making you sit through such butt-clenching situations.

I say this because the first one missed.

Before enemy phase ended and the torch area decreased, a peg knight flew here. Time to farm some easy exp for Rebecca.

So it looks like we can't end this on player phase. Lyn's the most vulnerable target in Uhai's range.
