Forgot to take a picture of the initial team. It's (from left to right) Fiora, Raven, Rebecca, Canas, Dart, Hector, Matthew, and Priscilla. It was a toss-up between Eliwood and Rebecca, but I felt that since Eliwood's forced for 20 (and maybe 21? I don't recall) he could get experience there.

(This turns out to be totally unnecessary. I did this so that his AS would tank and he'd be easier to kill, but I forgot Kishuna makes him unequip his books.)

This dodge turns out to be fortunate, since there's two pegasi. I felt confident doing this early on since I could easily reset if she did die without resorting to savestates.

I placed Rebecca in range because she can ORKO this guy. Canas can't double yet, unfortunately.

However, he does have good res and WTA (which is why I brought him along, instead of Lucius).

Matthew gets some lovin', despite probably not needing it. He can already steal the card.

We clear out a few more mages. I was planning on giving on to Rebecca, but Canas actually crit (I should probably stop fast-forwarding through the animations so I can actually screeny them).

Prissy heals up Fiora and gets a not-so-great 4-statter.

Raven will solo the axereaver squad.

Canas will...oh, bugger.

The knight, however, didn't get the memo. The other one doesn't move.

No, the mage doesn't miss the counter. Fortunately, he's got enough HP to survive.

And Rebecca kills it instead, getting a fire tome that will probably not see any use.

Ya know...I think I'll pass on this one.

Turn 8 is fast approaching, so let's send Canas over to intercept the incoming mage reinforcements.

And Hector is going lure other mages! Fiora's picked up Dart, as well.

Hector doesn't understand the concept of chipping, it seems. Oh well.

Dart, armed with a hand axe, is going to have fun against these knights with javelins.

And Hector lures out more mages.

This is the point where I realize making Aion wield his Bolting tome made absolutely no difference.

Elsewhere, Rebecca, Fiora, Dart, and Hector take out the remaining knights. Fiora gets a good level because it has strength. I like strength.

For some reason, the mage is going after Canas. Presumably because he's on low hp. Despite the fact that they do no damage to him.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, these mages still have not managed to damage Canas. Which is good, since he doesn't have a vulnerary.

Fiora joins the superfluous crit team and gets a lousy level.

I am not putting up with this bullshit. The best guy, Raven, has 50% hit, and it'll take almost everyone to take this guy down.

But take him down, we do (without RNG abuse, actually), until he has 4 hp level. Fiora's gonna finish him off.

Of course, she fucks it up.

A bit of rigging later, she kills him and gets a nice level for it. Raven silently applauds in the background.

A little heal-grinding and...nope, nothing great here.

I hope we're not LTCing this; I just figured Dart x Rebecca would be nice since she has the much-coveted fire affinity, and it's a pretty quick support.

I did Pirate Ship, and I actually spent all the funds we had on weapons there (about 3k G, iirc).

Also I'm fine with using most/all the Books we get on Dart (I think I suggested this during my Ch19 post), since he won't be hitting anything reasonably well without them for a while.

We still need Lyn and Eliwood to gain levels, though. Otherwise we'll be leaving Geitz behind.

Really, guys. I did not want this shit to happen through this runthrough. I'm fine with the use of savestates but actually changing things in-game is not cool.

Edit: Here's the deal. BlancHammer's older savefile is fine - we have 3335 Gold there.

I don't know how or why you edited the in-game data Kaede, but if it was on purpose, I don't approve of it. I must ask you to re-start and resubmit chapter 21 again.

BlancHammer, please wait until the new .sav file is up from Kaede. Sorry about this.
