The third shade of her hair doesn't really go with the other shades.
-
Rather than just pop in and say not to use JPG formats for
sprites and then never post again, I'll be the one to actually
critique something.
Est's close pad is bent down and the trim on it is not shaded
right. The pad has NO shading, The eyebrow is too solid and
uneven, you have two different border colors on one mug,
and the trim is a dark-brown doo-doo color for some reason.
-
Good concept, but you have FE6/7 colors mixed with FE8 outlines.
-
Don't be like that. Heck, I still suck at FCs. There's a lot of
pillowing and aliasing. The hair is the worst, Trust me, hair
is HARD. I can do custom hair now, but it's still hard for me.
Um...maybe you can sprite Lute? Use your avatar as ref!
-
Awesome half body as your avatar=WIN.
-
Er...yeah. Most people don't do a good job on their first few FCs.
-
The color used to shade for the white are...blegh. Try using Artur's colors.
He also needs his skin to be changed to FE8 or his outline to be changed to FE7.
-
Oh thank you. That information was more helpful.
Am I do it correctly now? Ha ha.
Yeah, I'm not very helpful when it comes to sprites advice :P
Wow, it's late *facepalm*
Well, make kind of a chunk of the lightest skin shade under the far
eye. Look at FE7 portraits for reference, most have that. Unfortunately,
neither mine nor TBA's avatars can help you with that at the moment.
*facepalm again*
EDIT: You didn't have to recolor that to skin tone, but you seem to
have gotten better at it, and it works. If you want, you can revert it back
to the colors you had before by recoloring the corresponding colors.
-
You need to use FE portraits for reference. You can learn
a lot about shading by observing them.
-
The trim on her shirt needs some anti-aliasing.
-
She's got a lot of stray pixels around her eyes.
-
A lot better.
-
The face is a bit too round. You should draw a vertical line where
the right eye(OPV) ends.
-
Pretty cool. It's too bad that GIMP is so hard to get used too and Paint.net
doesn't really do stuff like this DX

I see a lot of tiles being overused in those maps
That's like the only thing I can say about maps X(
EDIT:
On your animations, you need one more frame right
before he returns to his idle stance.
-
Are there red lines in them?
-
All you need is Mappy and the Tilesets. Sorry,
I don't remember where I got the tilesets D:
-
I'm no mapper, but I see a lot of tile spammage.
-
He's based from Dart, so I think he's AWSM XD
That doesn't really work though. It looks more like a side-by-side
comparison than hair with multiple hair colors.
-
It is, eh? Well I find it easier to read because my point of view doesn't
have to move horizontally across the screen. Good thing I don't post
much here, isn't it?

Look at this image. You see where it is highlighted?
-
Use the IMG codes below the image please. It's a pain when it
needs to open up the whole photobucket page to see an image.
-
Pretty cool.
