Saw Gen III. Instantly cast vote. I feel Hoenn/New Kanto was were Pokemon really shined. There weren't these gimmicks that got in the way (other than the HMs, of course), I think it had the perfect amount of Pokemon to catch, visuals were great...pure perfection in my opinion.

Despite my love of Cordelia, I always marry Lissa just so I can have Owain as my son. I am a terrible person.

Drew up some concepts of the characters. Looks largely unfinished now. Plan is to scan them and touch them up on the computer. From left to right, it's Stephan, Jennifer, Hamilton, and Helen. Likely only going to use the neck up in-game, but I'm still going over the options.

IIRC the game autosaves when a unit dies, but I've restarted several times when someone dies and I've never experienced a lost of data. Then again, it's possible.

Battery could be an issue. Our Pokemon games have had their batteries fail, we still need to replace the one on Emerald... Another reason could be removing the cart or turning off the power WHILE it was saving. I did that on my Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga cart and I lost all the data. Was at Joke's End, the second to last area of the game... (It was also a bootleg, so you might want to check the legitimacy of your cart as well.)

This is what I have done of Stephan's sprite sheet so far. I edited slightly since posting it on DeviantArt, I fixed that weird bump in his hair. I'm also not entirely sure what to do with the "death" set of sprites yet. Still experimenting with that, but so far, Stephan's the only one with them. This is Jennifer. She has long, Palutena-length hair, and I added a shadow on the ground for the hair. I thought that'd be a nice touch. :D Her head looks a bit thick here, but I shortened it after posting. I had a hard time getting Hamilton to look right, but eventually, I had to settle for removing the spikes on his armor. I couldn't get them to animate right. His battle sprite should have them, though I have yet to get to those... Helen's attire changed vastly upon the transition to MV. I like the way the dress came out, but I'm a little iffy on the way the hair animates. I have trouble getting those down. Will post more later.

In PoR, I pretty much just screw stealth as I know I'm going to have to get caught at one point, anyway. Plus it helps with experience-boosting.

Bump for update. Once I had something solid I wanted to work with, I officially announced that Power Master 2: The Legend has entered development, along with a SECOND game: Power Master 1: A Strange Journey MV, which is a revamp of the original game I released earlier this year. From the thread on my forums here: One thing you may notice is that I have decided to cancel the use of voice overs in the games. Once I decided to build two games at once, and considering the low amount of submissions I received, I decided against using them. I'll have more info on the games soon. Also, titled the thread for general Power Master stuff.

Yeah, Kaze and Donnel might not've been the best fit, now that I think about it. I don't really want Yuri to voice Roy either, as he's already Marth, but I'm indifferent to that idea. Perhaps Spike Spencer, who was anime Marth and Awakening's Excellus? Next voice that popped into my head was Ash Ketchum's VA, but... ehhhh.

Master Lord would be his class, I think. I know in English fanslations, it's Great Lord, but perhaps go with the Japanese name to differentiate it from Lucina's. Of course, he would have the Sword of Seals as his weapon and it would function similar in Fates as it would in the original game. Not sure about skills, but I think Donnel's or Kaze's VAs would be a good fit.

Looking through everyone's responses... I pretty much agree with a majority of them. Except for this one. Go hug a ReDead.

Eirika's route is easier comparatively and shows more background of the characters (like Joshua). Ephraim's is harder, but tells more about future events. ...I like Ephraim as a character better, so going with Ephraim.

The Nutdecker is my favorite. I might do him if I have the time (or remember).
