To answer your question: no, you can't restart a chapter.
However, you may be able to save Dew through RNG abuse. Save before taking your turn, and waste some RNs in a different way (for example, by letting someone "die" in the arena), and try playing the turn out. If Dew dies, go back to the save, do something different (different unit, more arena fights). Keep going until he survives, and move people from your main army towards Dew. Using emulator save states will be less consuming than in-game saves here.
I tried doing as you said, but it failed.
*Sigh* I guess I'll have to restart the game. At least I wasn't far. Thanks for the advice.

I just started this game and I'm on chapter 1. Dew has just gotten trapped by Verdane soldiers and is getting killed while I made a save (yeah I messed up -_-). I tried getting Sigurd killed but that didn't restart the chapter, it made me go back to my last save, the one with Dew trapped by soldiers.
Does this mean I have to restart the game?

Best Oliver. Come on, you KNOW that he was infatuated by Reyson and Rafiel at first sight.
Worst: .....There aren't that many rapists in the Fire Emblem series, so it's hard to pick. I'm gonna have to pick Narshen, because he should've taken Clarine away when Roy's army came into Laus. Gheb is a close runner-up because he seemingly doesn't give a damn when his own troops try to kill Tana in her prison.
I nominate Best/Worst Epilogue.

To be honest, I found this commercial to be a bit weird and corny because of the opening music, but the kid wielding the sword at the end was pretty cool IMO (Even though he doesn't look like Celice). It sort of reminds me of FE1's commercial with the opera. I find it interesting that they got non-Japanese people (unless my eyes deceive me) to play the roles of the hero and heroine.
Has anybody else seen this old commercial?

I would really like to see a remake of FE4 on the Wii, or FE6 on the DS. Emulating has helped me play games that I couldn't because of the language barrier, but I'd rather have an official localization than a potentially messed up computer.
Despite my hopes, Intelligent Systems is most likely going to make a completely new game. (To be honest, I think that's the best choice seeing how they handled Shadow Dragon)

A long time ago, there was this "Famicom" band that played songs from classic NES/Famicom games, such as Balloon Fight, Mach Rider, the Legend of Zelda, and MOTHER. Interestingly, the first song they play in this big medley is the Fire Emblem theme.
It's a two part video btw.
Just thought it would be interesting to bring it up here. Dunno if anybody else saw it.
